is that pay tv with no ads during live play with some sport??
Wasn't the case during the F1 at the weekend.
He said 'some'.

He also said 'sport', so that excludes go kart stuff.

Motorsport - the clue is in the name. Especially when it's the pinnacle level of that sport.

Yes, he said some but Foxtel ads at the moment all about how they hate ads during sport, then they put ads in the middle of live sport.

Some sports take advertising better than others. All the cars do is go round and round with a limited amount of spectacle and, so long as they show the pertinent moments even if slightly delayed, adverts don't bother me. Golf's a bit the same, who needs to watch the players walking down the fairway?

Have to agree though that using no ads as an advertising ploy is a bit ironic.

It shouldn't bother the Mackems, the Championship is still on Fox
I still live with hope of staying up, huge derby game this weekend
I reckon three out of the bottom four are down, so you might well be having the derby again next year

It was the same last year when Fox showed the Australian GP, but then for the rest of the races there were no ads and split screens. Could be something to do with that GP specifically, something with Channel 10?

I don't remember that happening last year. Definitely no ads for the other races.

It definitely happened, but I thought because Fox acquired the rights so late, maybe agreements were already in place. But only for that race.
