EPL Season 2015-16

With the international break ahead , hard to believe Man City already 8 points ahead of Chelski.

How is the international break relevant?

Ok to keep you happy after four games then, still a big gap.

Good to see Jonjo Shelvey rewarded with an England call up. I wonder if Reds fans would prefer him ahead of Lucas in the Liverpool side?

As it marks the close of the transfer window and the first time a normal round of fixtures is not present most clubs and supporters use it as a stocktake with how their team has started and if their pre season was a success.

Not really that surprised, the depth in the squad is above and beyond all over the park

add to that:

Fernandinho
Fernando
Jesus Navas
Otemendi
Kolarov
Sagna
De Bruyne
Nasri
Caballero
Denayer

They could pretty well field two first XI sides that would challenge most

Given their immense depth , apart from money why did Delph go to City?

Allen. The useless one is Allen.

Henderson, Milner, Shelvey, Coutinho, Lucas is a good bunch of mids to choose from - even replacing Shelvey with Allen (ie. what we have now) is good - the problem is how they play under BR.

Spendings in summer transfer window was 860m pounds by the EPL clubs. If you add the January window, total spend for 2015 is £1bilion.

Shelvey is not that good. Not saying Allen or Lucas are, but if LFC fans want the likes of him coming back it shows how they now accept mediocrity.

Yaya was inconsistent last year and Delph could be seen as the longer term replacement. Yaya has been excellent so far but I would think Delph would be ahead of Fernando as back up and can rotate with Yaya as the season goes on.

Don't tell the tiki taka, keep possession at all costs brigade this, but Leicester have only had the majority of possession twice in their 24 matches this year, yet miraculously they're top of the league and have only lost twice. How can this be?

If Spurs can't win it, I'd love to see Leicester get up (and Chelsea go down  ).

Despite being a fan, I tend to agree with you, however Leicester don't look so effective against teams that don't push on to them and none of the others in contention are setting the World on fire. It's very open and it might just come down to who holds their nerve.
