We were in the line to see inside Buckingham Palace , ended next to former footballer now solicitor Stuart Ripley. Had a long chat and interesting to hear his views on state of English football.

Ticket prices out of control and that due to TV deal EPL can afford to halve them.
Not enough opportunities for English players , due to too many overseas players .
Not enough investment in junior coaching .

Also if they halve ticket prices it would go against the financial fair play system that you love so much. Supply and demand shows that if stadia are selling out then ticket prices are right or even too low.


Ahh modern football, isn't it great.
