 The difference being, I'm not upset they got knocked out of the bloody thing. Despite the carrot of CL qualifying, it's a real pain to be in.

Chance of winning = remote
Prize money = peanuts
PL performances after EL games = complete garbage

Get the League Cup Final out of the way, then maybe they can concentrate on the PL.

Rather lose today and win on Sunday.

If we don't win on Sunday, at least we'll finish above the Arsenal this year

How the game of football has changed since the Bosman ruling.

Neither side began with a player from their home country on the pitch - with Fiorentina's Micah Richards the lone Englishman to start the match. Fifteen different nationalities were represented.

Just cause it worked for you last year, playing minimal comps to allow a run in the league your expecting it to occur again this year! One big difference thou - Suarez!

Torino played brilliantly vs Bilbao, great game to watch over both legs. First Italian team to win at Bilbao ever!

Not sure why "plastic". Some disappointment, naturally, but can either cry about it or onwards and upwards to the league and this pesky little comp called the FA Cup!

Where's your partner today NOC? Fast enough when arsenal lost the first of a two legged tie yet doesn't show when his side is bounced out :P

Some of Fiorentina's Italians were injured or not included in the squad. Aquilani and Pasqual did come off the bench, however.

It was a superb performance. I didn't think Torino would go there and score once, let alone three times. You may have been the first team to win there, but we won even by losing in 1977

All five Italian teams through, that will help the coefficient ranking. Now hopefully they go on with the job, plus Juve in the CL.

No he didn't.

Being knocked out in any comp is a disaster.

Inb4 the old, a blessing in disguise comment from him also. If it even is a he

We didn't deserve to get through. Rodgers may actually learn to attack a team that we are clearly better than.
We play a lot of teams away from home that we are better than but we sit back like we are 2 leagues lower. It is disappointing that we won't win this now but I hope we'll learn a lot from our European games for next season.

Yeah I'm plastic because I think we'll learn more getting knocked out after our team tactics and setup today.

Don't try and back flip here. You were not expecting a fellow scouse to disagree with what you wrote was more to the point

You can go look at any comment I've made about the game on various Liverpool forums. All of them say the same thing.
