Because I am pretty sure your attitude to Carlisle is because he "sided with one of his own", a statement I've heard many times from those in England who still have a racist view towards Black footballers.
You assume wrong then. You are right that I think he's a prick over his handling of that issue but nothing to do with "one of his own".

What exactly is he supposed to have done to deserve your contempt, apart from his job?

As I said earlier, the way he handled the Ferdinand/Terry situation was abysmal.

You know what he did but:

Hung one of his members out to dry.

Thought his opinion was worth more than the court of his country.

He had to 'hang someone out to dry' are you just unhappy that he chose your player over the other player?

My player?

Maybe he should have just accepted that law of the land?

Serial racist?

Can't even think of one time I have been racist.

Oh and I quite like Jeremy Clarkson, his articles in The Times are brilliant and I own a few of his books.

rant? I merely gave my opinion on a bloke being a prick, it's the other bloke getting his knickers in a twist.

If you are, you certainly hide it very well!

Just wondering if there's been anything in the news recently to change your mind on him?

My mind, unlike yours, was never made up one way or the other as I didn't follow much of the story as it didn't appear to be all that interesting.

I was merely reporting on his accident as it seemed newsworthy.

You were the one who started the slanging match.

" never had much time for the bloke" - hardly a slanging match."
