Win the Semi & Final and Liverpool even qualify for the lucrative Champions League.
Does that mean England could have 6 teams in the champions league next year or is it still limited to 4?
I think it was limited to four, a decision that was made after Liverpool won it in 2005.

I've been told by someone else that it's limited to 5

Wasn't there also talk of losing a spot due to poor performance by English clubs in this season's CL?
Time for some righteous indignation

Still limited to 4. If Liverpool or Man City qualify from outside the top 4, then fourth place in the league miss out. Happened to Spurs a few years back when Chelsea won the CL but failed to finish in the top 4.

Not sure what would happen if they both qualified from outside the top 4. I suppose third would miss out as well.

I think that rule changed a couple of years ago.
Spain had 5 teams in CL this season - Barca, Real, Atletico and Valencia top 4 + Sevilla EL winner.

OK, just found it, you're right.

Horrible tackle on Origi. Those stamping assaults, I won't call it a tackle, are so dangerous, he should be gone for 4 or 5 games for that.

'Twas a good performance, Bomboff. But goals won't get them into the Champions League. They'll need to win the Europa League for that.

ps, where's your Mr Liverpool, Mr New Name Not Needed? Thought he would have been all over that horrible foul that could have snapped the young man's ankle.

It's a shame we've hit our form 2-3 games too late. We could've easily made top 4. Europa league win is a must! Everton are a joke of a club. Martinez won't be there next season especially if they don't win the FA cup.

Michael Owen, a Premier League winner with Manchester United, has been appointed as a Liverpool International Ambassador.

Apparently, not every Liverpool fan is impressed

Spurs should appoint Judas Campbell and see what happens.

I don't think you can compare the two of them. I find it hard to forgive Teddy Sheringham for going to west ham but Campbell really took the piss in his dealings with it. Making sure he left directly to them on a free transfer. Owen and SHeringham went via other clubs, which makes it less worse to me.

Not sure of the damage to the Liverpool's guys leg but I think it could have been much worse if he went through with a much harder tackle. Either way its a definite red card tackle for me.

Now Sakho's failed a drug test. I reckon Klopp has slipped him a mickey to get rid of him

Klopp puts out a weakened side against Swansea, so I assume he's has given up on Euro qualification via the league and is concentrating on the Europa League.

About 4 weeks ago.....but he still goes on in his presser's about respecting the PL and that's the primary goal. I reckon he's a massive taker of the piss and media haven't latched on yet.

Dunno what the strategy is if Villareal get a result on Thurs?

Ask for more (than normal) $$$ to spend on new players would be my guess.

It would be cool if Liverpool win it, the PL would have five in the CL next year. Plus, whilst it's fun to take the piss out of the Scouse when they play badly, I actually like Klopp and the way he tries to play.

How did Valencia not get the penalty?

They're playing Seville in the final.

 Couldn't have been more blatant. I can only assume the ref was directly behind so couldn't see it.

That's the luck you need to win things, so maybe their name is on the trophy.
