Spuds to use Emirates Stadium????
Cannot see either club going for this.

I feel that you guys should apply to play at Wembley Stadium as you don't get to play there any other way

MK Dons' ground seems the more logical choice
Cant see them using Emirates. The pitch would turn to cr@p with all the games being played.
Plus, why should Arsenal help out their rivals?
In the one-in-a-million chance that it does happen though, i hope Arsenal charge them a fortune to use it

What's the capacity of MK Dons' stadium? - Surely not enough for Spurs supporter base?haywood djablowme wrote:Confirmed on BBC radio this morning that the Spuds will play 50miles away at MK Donsmaxin in the shade wrote:MK Dons' ground seems the more logical choice

I’ve flown into Luton airport before and that was about an hour into the City on an express train and Spurs wanna go another 20km or so further North?!?! Seems like a bizarre move, even if temporary.

I'm told that it's more likely they'll hire the Boleyn (before it gets redeveloped) for the majority of the games and Wembley for 4 or 5 big ones.

Do you have any links to articles on West Ham going there? I'd love to see how its all going to happen. I attended a day of Athletics there for the Olympics and the stadium is great. I'm just not sure how it will go for a season of football.Nice One Cyril wrote:West Ham will be thereStuckey wrote:What's the go with the Olympic stadium ATM surely that's a better option?

Maybe you can use it for some new material. It seems everytime anyone asks anything on here that's the response. I was just wondering if anyone had read anything on the subject before I went looking.

Re: Spuds to use Emirates Stadium????
I believe the olympic stadium is being reconfigured to allow the rectangular aspect.
After all the debacle over who was going to play there, can't see the scum allowing them to use upton park or the olympic stadium.
Far better options that are at least in London. Loftus Road or The Den being 2 that come immediately to mind. 10K less capacity but at least still in London. Closer to home than Milton Keynes as well would be The Stoop or Vigarage Road. The Stoop's probably a bit far out but again, at least in London.
BUT with most of spurs fan base being hertfordshire based, it won't be too much a journey up there as it may seem but still think they should stay in London.
