So Gabriel's 3 match suspension has been overturned

Makes him available for tommorrow morning's match v Spurs. Mertesacker back in the team aswell.
Wonder if Wenger will keep Gabriel in the line up.

We need a good win. You just feel as though Arsenal are lumbering through the season so far.
We need to start putting a string of good performances together

Good to see that Costa got banned, he's a dirty champagne and anyway he wears a Chelsea shirt, but I'm surprised that Gabriel's card was rescinded. He did kick someone deliberately right in front of the ref, albeit gently, a la Beckham in the WC, but it's a slippery slope to go down. How hard is hard enough to warrant a ban?

Please play Mertesacker

Cant loose 3 in a row so expect an experience line up. Gone are the days of Wenger playing the youth, our squad is big enough now to be forced to play a more settled line up. Hopefully Wenger learnt from the Zagreb game re the right balance.

Have a bad feeling about tonight, we are truly shit and Pochettino is starting to build something decent at the spuds. Hopefully Levi stays true to form and sacks him soon.

If it wasn't your wanky mob, I wouldn't care at all. Two semi reserve teams are not worth watching tbh. I wonder when Flamini last scored a brace

Great win away against the only side not to have been beaten this season.

Good to see Sanchez get back on the scorer's sheet. That third goal was all class - what a way to bring up your hat-trick. Though Ozil's little dinky cross for his second was simply sublime.

Walcott is starting to get some consistency in his performances aswell and as a result is scoring regularly. He's looking better and better each match. Hope he continues his good run of form.

Also, special mention to Monreal. He's been one of our most consistent players. Surely a call up to the national squad is due also.

All in all a good performance especially after going down 1-0. Its another big week for us with CL on Wedensday morn followed by Man U's visit - thats gonna be huge!

This.

I just dont understand what happens with us in these CL matches.

Do we think we just need to turn up and the result will take care of itself?

And why keep Cech out? I thought part of the reason we bought him was for his experience in the CL.
Doesnt make any sense.

Interesting that Wenger had four defenders on the bench, didn't seem to give him much flexibility.

Why would he leave out Cech as well, didn't he buy for his big game experience?

Now that was more like it. What an opening 20 minute spell of attacking, fast football that was.
Man U were still in the changerooms it seemed

Was great to watch. Good to see Ozil grab a goal and Walcott seems to be getting better and better the more games he plays as a number 9.

But it does leave me feeling frustrated that theyre not able to pull off those kinds of performances consistently.

Interesting game - I do wonder how the game will go when they next meet at old Trafford. IMO I think it will end up a draw. Man u should have learnt from the weekends game and I don't think Arsenal will come out as hard early away from home.

What a result against a very good Bayern Munich side!

And good to see the Additional Assistant Referee get it right about Ozil's goal over the line before Neuer clawed it out.

Still can't understand Platini switching off Goal Line Technolgy in stadia where it is available though. GLT is still 99.99% accurate compared to those extra officials' decision-making. UEFA must resolve this issue as GLT is now available in major European Leagues. Platini should just deploy his 5th & 6th statues in stadia which do not have GLT.

Is it available for every ground being used in the competition?

Hopefully the Arsenal ground stewards will do their job properly this week, so that Toffee fans don't have to be pelted with objects thrown down on them by Gunner fans.
Dixie Dean was hailed by another Mersey legend, Liverpool’s Bill Shankly, as “belonging in the company of the supremely great, like Beethoven, Rembrandt and Shakespeare.”

60 goals, never to be equalled.

Heard over the speaker during the game that the last train back to liverpool was cancelled. The Arsenal fans were of course very sympathetic.
