Have a joke at us as much as you like Cyril - cause we deserve it right now, but at least make it a good one..

It's Christmas, I was being kind.
Don't worry, we weren't much better at OT

Frustrating that all other clubs have steadied the ship after sacking their managers, yet we are still sinking.. even Everton turned it around v Chelski this morning & don't even get me started on the scum. I called it weeks ago, we should of got the chosen 1 before they appointed him

The incongruously named Granit, the Goon skipper, found to be soft as blancmange, ducking out of a header to allow Ogbonna to score.

Wrong Cyril, Granit is not our skipper, however don't let me get in the way of a good story

Hey Haywood, ya beat me to the punch. When I first glanced at Cyril’s taunt I thought here we go again - he just flicked through the highlights and didn’t notice Aubameyang was the skipper against the Hammers.
I hope Cyril enjoyed goals by young Martinelli, N. Pepe and of course Pierre-Emerick the goal-machine. And the precision passing by Ozil in the second half when this creator “made the play”. Why can’t Nice One Cyril Knowles occasionally have something nice to say about Arsenal? I know I admired the Son & Kane goals against Burnley.
As for Xhaka, I think most players would have been wary of a clash of heads coming in from the side against Ogbanna who was flying in kamikaze-like and crazy-brave.
Anyhow, that second-half performance brought smiles to the players and now Arsenal are also into the second round of Europa and we know what that can potentially bring.

I certainly enjoyed the Man City game

Oh come on, you wouldn't follow the Goons if you were that bright, but I didn't think you were intellectually challenged.

When the luck is not with you.. Should of been a 2nd yellow card, everyday of the week = game over & much needed 3pts + confidence boost!
Two ref howlers this morning.. great Intercept by the ref in the Citeh game. What happened to the refs stopping the game when they come into contact with the ball??

Refs were never supposed to stop play if they came into contact with the ball. They're part of the furniture so to speak.

Whilst I'm very happy it happened to the Goons, you're right, it's bottle of shiraz ridiculous that refs are making a judgment call differently when a player has already been booked. They do the same in the early part of games as well. They just need to learn that they are there to impartially officiate what they see, not try to make a spectacle of it.

I didn't know that. It does however tie in why I lost interest in the game. Too much tinkering.
