I hear ya. How bout that backpass to Mignolet?!? Like the commentator said, he's seen shots come at a keeper far slower than thatEast Boy wrote:Sakho scares me when he tries to play out from the back. I give him credit, he obviously has been told to do it. There was 2 or 3 balls they played into the center mids, they had no where to go, someone up their clacker & fizzed it at them.
Good 3 points and the first 6 games are important to build & just get 3 points as much as possible.

Looked good last night. Should have had a goal or 2 but he has a presence on the game

After seeing how lazy he was at the world cup, it was good to see him back in defence helping the team out.Red-4-Life wrote:Looked good last night. Should have had a goal or 2 but he has a presence on the game

What did you expect on his first day at the office?totsreds08 wrote:After seeing how lazy he was at the world cup, it was good to see him back in defence helping the team out.Red-4-Life wrote:Looked good last night. Should have had a goal or 2 but he has a presence on the game
With Balo it's not so much about what he does today as much as it is what will he do tomorrow?

Its funny re Sakho, but he will no doubt cost us during the year. He has youth on his side and hopefully he can be utilized in games where there isnt much pressure :? With Agger gone, its a little concerning.Judge Judy wrote:I hear ya. How bout that backpass to Mignolet?!? As for Super Mario, he was decent, not fantastic, but I guess all LFC supporters hope he buys into Rogers philosophy and plays for the team. If he doesnt, we'll sell him for no less than what we paid for him. After all he is Italy's number 1 striker......

this is a little silly to hope for after you have purchased him.....you would've thought that Rogers and 'Poo would've considered this prior to chasing him.....

I think they have finally accepted that last year was a total over achievement for them.

Senderos is a hack, used to make me laugh when the Goons defended him. Shame he left IMO.

Mondays are very quiet at the moment - can't hear much from scousers or United fans. I suppose a couple more wins and they could both be safe from relegation.

Re: Balotelli to Liverpool
Doesn't look quite as dangerous as Suarez

The Kings Jesta wrote:Young defender made young defender errors last night. Will be interesting to see how many teams take points at City though. They are very solid and efficient. Thus I have them down to win the league, then Chelsea, the LFC. If we lose to Chelsea and City at their grounds, but pretty much take maximum points in every other game, we still be within a shout though.
Derek, can you measure something you've never seen? Or did you ask Barca if you could touch the trophy in 06 just to see what it felt like for a glimpse?
love the optimism
