Do the 2 he scored for Man City not count? I missed the news when his goals were scrubbed out.

Perhaps Stevie G going the other way. Will they offer him another year?

I think he's almost in the MLS zone TBH.

BBC/Telegraph pick up the Gerrard interview then hours later Echo (Liverpool mouthpiece) put out a story that new talks are progressing. Pretty much says that this will be a season long saga.

If he signs a new deal fine but he can't be a 90min player every game, Can looks like he has the ability to take that DM spot.

Had to laugh at the Liverpool defender Moreno playing tiki taka 8 yards out from his own goal

Give it the Row Z treatment son, don't shiraz about there.

WTF was he thinking!!
Another very frustrating performance. BR needs to change it up in the front 3rd.

What's more worrying is how they sliced through the right side so easily to setup the goal.
Manquillo has looked solid every time he plays, not sure why Johnson plays ahead of him.

We arent playing too well, in fact away to Spurs and the home game with Everton (thought we were stiff to draw that one) about the only good performances I've seen this season.
That said, although we've been pretty crap, we're still above Man U and Everton!

Tough to lose a Suarez or Bale. Irreplaceable and takes at least a season to change the focus of the side.

On the bright side, you've got Balo and we've got Ade

I may be proven wrong, unlikely though that is, but I think Sturridge without Suarez will be a lot less effective. All of a sudden, he'll be the focus of attention and it remains to be seen if he can handle that.

Look at the beginning of last season.

No Suarez due to suspension.

Liverpool score first
v Stoke 1-0 Sturridge
v Villa 1-0 Sturridge
v Southampton 0-1
v Man Utd 1-0 Sturridge

So I think he is OK without him.

Dont forget we lost Modric the season before so you could well argue that our loss/s were/are as significant as the Bindippers. Modric/ Bale or Suarez/ Sturridge???.. I know which 2 I'd want :!: :!:

Spurs have always been selling club, so you should be used to it.

Gets me every week. Players continue to play even though they aren't in form. Something has to change quickly.

Balotelli is yet to score in the Premier League since making his £16million move from AC Milan, and his Match Zone statistics speak volumes.
The striker did not manage a shot on or off target, and did not create a single chance or a cross.
The former Manchester City striker was, however, caught offside four times as his heat map shows he barely registered a touch in the visitors' box.
I wonder if they could get a refund?

Liverpool strikers Mario Balotelli, 24, Fabio Borini, 23, and Rickie Lambert, 32, have gone 1,000 minutes without scoring.

Bit tough on Borini, he's only started in 2 games - his goal below means I will always have a soft spot for him

Did the cup game v Swansea get scrubbed out?
And Torres by himself cost more than those 3 and took 700+ minutes to score.

What was the point of you post again?

enough of the season completed sample size to see all the useless stats to come out.

bit like the one doing the rounds yesterday on twitter: without Sanchez's goals and assists Arsenal would be lying 19th....

silly.
