Liverpool blew their chance. They really did.

Had one of the best players (and headcases) in the world in the form of his life for a whole season, a league that struggled to adapt to their manager's tactics, the Moyes Man Utd season, and a 14 match winning run and were nominally 3 points (actually more due to catchup games to be played) on top of the table with 3 rounds to go.

Life is about taking chances. It's a shame for then that they blew it because they never know when the next one may come along, or the next player like Suarez might come along.

Atletico Madrid in the same boat but managed to hold on!

Didn't touch the ball in the oppositions box for the entire game and also ignored Rogers orders to clap towards the Liverpool fans  Rodgers not looking so smart this year!

Also that yellow away kit is foul

Pretty ordinary display from Balotelli, he is that sort of player brilliant for one match than missing for three.

I didn't think he played poorly, held the ball up well had some nice touches.
Missing a support striker to linkup with him, when Sturridge comes backs and its the same setup as away to Spurs think he'll be fine.

Did you watch the Liverpool game?
Balotelli had little service. He worked hard and tried to create but imo he wasn't bad. We had worse players out there today.

Signing all that "depth" for an extra 6 games. Poverty team deserves its poverty kit.

 He was actually pretty good on the weekend, if you ignore a piss poor penalty.

A sort of Suarez without the teeth (literally and metaphorically).

At least when he failed to score, there was a keeper in the way!

No defence of Markovic or Lambert  as expected.

It's similar because the new signings aren't all living up to their potential.

Yeah by 2 points, thanks to a game on the weekend you were very lucky to win.

That young home grown kid Danny Welbeck seems to be settling in quite well at London's premier club, 5 goals in 7 games plus a few for his country.

One has been injured a lot, one was bought as a squad player.

We were unlucky not to beat Everton, so we are where we deserve to be.

Let's talk again may about if our signings were ok or not. Ours may all fail like yours, but again they may not!!!

Lambert was signed for 4m as a 3rd choice and shock he's playing as a 3rd choice.
And Markovic has played 190mins of PL football this season....

If this is you when Liverpool win and Spurs get a pants down, look out forum when Spurs get a draw somewhere!

Funny how a guy who has averaged a goal every other game for a mid table side has now become a 3rd choice and failed to score after 8 games.

Yeah and how has he looked in those 190 mins? I'm sure most liverpool fans would agree he's been very average.

Pfft I'm not worried about the results this weekend. You guys were outplayed by the worst team in the league while we took it to the one of the best teams in the league.
