This thread is about Man U, so maybe he's a new signing there.

Not only one of the more boring teams these days, also don't seem to like improving in Europe.

 Gonna be crowded in the Europa League this year.

The probably should have appointed Gary Neville as coach, or Brendan is available.

Couldn't believe what I was watching....Man U didn't have 1 world class player on the pitch nor bench, in a squad worth 350 million pounds.....

+1. Glad I woke up and watched this game. Incredible. Forumite Ruud told us van Gaal would eventually come a cropper.

ps - some trivia: Mega, did you know the Cherries played here against South Australia back in antiquity?

You sound surprised? It's been that way all year. Paul Scholes described it best...average players, average team.

Just another slip-up for van Gaal. At home too - against Norwich who? Giggsy11 & others on here have been quiet since the Champions League disaster. This Dutchman won't last long @ Old Trafford.

Or Chelsea

Personally, I think LVG deserves the chance to get them relegated

Ok so man utd had 67% posession, hit the upright once, hit the crossbar once, had two CLEAR CUT penalties not given and hererra hit their keeper (saved by his chest) at point blank range

The purpose of the game is to put the ball in the net more times than the other side. Every other stat is irrelevant.

Home game v Chelsea, anything other than a win is a poor performance

Man Utd's playing style 'not exactly what Adidas want to see'

Manchester United's playing style is not what kit sponsor Adidas "want to see", according to the chief executive of the German sportswear giant.
United began a £75m-a-year deal with Adidas at the start of the season.
Herbert Hainer told Suddeutsche Zeitung "business with United is going very well" but expressed doubt about the team's "way of playing".
Manager Louis van Gaal's possession-based approach has been criticised by fans, former players and the media.
Saturday's 2-1 victory over Swansea was their first win in nine games, their worst run in 26 years.
In that time, the Red Devils slipped out of the top four in the Premier League and went out of the Champions League at the group stage.
Their record-breaking deal with Adidas is worth £750m over 10 years.
Hainer said: "We sell more jerseys than expected, the foreign share is 60%. We are satisfied, even if the actual way of playing of United is not exactly what we want to see."

Obviously can't stand Utd but this is what's wrong with football....

Of course a keeper can win you a game.
