Didn't win too many games at the tail end of last season and pre-season has been fairly poor.
Best to try and fix things up early I suppose

From memory Norwich did the same thing several years ago when they were thumped 1-7 at home to Colchester (I think it was them) in the season opener in League One/Div 3. They went on to get promoted, succeeded in the Championship and played Premier League the season after.

Didn't Mick Theo the current Roar keeper play in goals for Norwich that day?

Forest got a win! All is good in the world.

Championship is where the best football clubs in England choose to play.
Hence why Forest have never bothered with promotion.

Manager sacked and you win 5-3 away in League Cup, got to be happy.

Happy with our 3-0 win in the League Cup, however big game against Derby this week, especially as they are favourites for the title.

I wonder if Blackpool can fill the team sheet this week?

For the first game they named only 14 players.
