Didn't win too many games at the tail end of last season and pre-season has been fairly poor.ozzie owl wrote:Huddersfield Town have parted company with manager Mark Robins after just one game of the Championship season.

From memory Norwich did the same thing several years ago when they were thumped 1-7 at home to Colchester (I think it was them) in the season opener in League One/Div 3. They went on to get promoted, succeeded in the Championship and played Premier League the season after.swannsong wrote:Didn't win too many games at the tail end of last season and pre-season has been fairly poor.ozzie owl wrote:Huddersfield Town have parted company with manager Mark Robins after just one game of the Championship season.

Didn't Mick Theo the current Roar keeper play in goals for Norwich that day?Bomber wrote:From memory Norwich did the same thing several years ago when they were thumped 1-7 at home to Colchester (I think it was them) in the season opener in League One/Div 3. Forest got a win! All is good in the world.
Championship is where the best football clubs in England choose to play.
Hence why Forest have never bothered with promotion.
