Celtic embarrass Scotland
Losing 6-1 across two legs to Polish opposition is nothing short of disgraceful. Shame how this supposedly mighty club fails to deliver.

Re: Celtic embarrass Scotland
Probably right but we are talking about a club that is a European champion with millions of fans worldwide (no doubt including Poland) - the same cannot be said about any of the clubs in Poland. I agree - this must be embarrassing for such a club.Bomber wrote:Newsflash - Scottish football isn't necessarily superior to Polish football anyway.
Re: Celtic embarrass Scotland
I'd say it embarrassing for any club that only two seasons ago, made it thru to the knock out stages beating Barca along the way.

I hate to agree, unfortunately the Scottish game was in free fall and then Rangers got done for cheating and basically were disbanded
Having no competition Celtic seemed to have cashed in, focussing on winning the SPL with a second rate team buying a few 'journeymen' along the way and not developing home based talent

After they appointed Ronny Deila, who has been lauded for developing young players in Norway.

Re: Celtic embarrass Scotland
Lol, ok I will take your very poorly laid bait, as a million bitter huns couldn't wipe the smile from my face, although I won't answer directly but will provide you with a few cryptic clues. One was a "big" Scottish team, that was ultimately disbanded, only to comeback in the prestigious Scottish 3rd Division as a Newco. The other was a Polish Team, that mostly suffered from poor administration but broke the rules!

Re: Celtic embarrass Scotland
So, why won't you name the teams? Is it because as soon as you name them people will realise that neither of them have been "done for cheating"?
EDIT: Just seen that in the last hour one of them has actually been "done for cheating".

Re: Celtic embarrass Scotland
Might not be over, have mixed feelings
For Legia going through
1) Celtic were truly awful deserved to be out
2) The mistake was just that a small silly error
3) May force the board to spend some money
For Celtic going through
1) We need the money
2) Rules are rules and Legia screwed up
3) The Scottish league is so boring Europe is only thing worth watching
4) The Huns will be chocking
Yeah hope we are still in

At the risk of being declared racist - for pointing out the truth again - Cetic was formed by Irish Catholics (and a few Scottish ones too) and Rangers were formed by Scottish Protestants (amongst others).

What new club?
New company yes, New club no. Proof in this is that they continue to pay all the debts they believe to be valid.

Always a laugh when Roy tries to express a notion that somehow manages to enter his head. I think they even made a musical about him
