Reminds me of Div Two SAASL miss I saw few years ago .

To be fair at least he got a foot on the ball, which is better than what I would have done.

It wasn't that bad a miss really - the ball bobbed up just as he hit it and it came off the top of his boot.

I put a ball over the bar from the goal line once due to the ball bobbing up just as I hit it - now that was embarrassing!


I notice the FTA stations made the most of it but I've seen many AFL & SANFL players miss the goal from similar positions and the ball was in their hands!

That is like missing the Empire State Building from the pavement out front.
