Ranieri = Italian Hodgson.

Stealing a living.

Are Greece top of their qualifying group with a 100% record?
when England bomb out in the groups at France16 at least you've got that to cling to.

I'm sure the poms will back me on this:

Greece losing to Faroe Is = proper tournament/qualifiers
Greece winning v Oz after an initial loss = friendly

Which has more impact?

Yes, like 2002 at Upton Park, diddly squat. Didn't stop your bunch of loud mouths crowing about it for 14 years though.

Except this one actually did, because the Aussies played like butcker hacks.

So Greece turned it up and served Australia's muscat on a platter.

As for Greece losing to Faroe Islands, we all know this was fixed. The Greek players, who are of superior quality to Australian players, were not playing because they had it in for their previous coach and wanted him sacked. They got their wish.

I don't know what's worse. Trying to claim that a friendly is more important than a league match or claiming your own players are guilty of match fixing and should be banned for life.

So then remind us again why this group of players, that you very recently referred to as the 'real deal', was in Australia and not France.
Time for some righteous indignation

I never said it is more important.

But you got your muscat handed to you since the Socceroos played with 100% intencity.

The Greek Team was wanting a leisurely stroll, but when the lost their keeper, they gave the Socceroos a real good dose of reality.

It's not a conspiracy theory.

The players were not happy with their coach and did a job on him. This is what happens in Europe - Spain, Italy, France, Greece you name it.

They play the top European Nations all the time.

The Greek Federation was paid to come because the FFA wanted to capitalise its return from the Greek Community in Melbourne and Sydney.

Good luck with that, because it is not something that can be proven. The Greeksa will never admit it.

Yes it did.

The Greek Team bloody did a number on the Socceroos and its good to see the Butthurst!

Especially after all the cockiness and ridicule about the Faroe Islands.

Look, Greece is a cut above the socceroos, and it's about time you guys understood this reality.

You need to pay attention. My team did not get their arses handed to them by the socceroos and even if they were IT WAS A FRIENDLY. How did you go against the faroe islands in a real game?

I agree greece are a lot better than australia, however - they're still cabernet and not at the Euro's.

They would have been better off playing the Faroe Islands it appears! Much hgarder challenge than the Socceroos.

The Greek Players did a number on the previous coach. All these games, including that against the Faroe Islands were as a result of unhappy players.

You can't convince me that Greece is lesser than Faroe Islands when most of the players are playing for big clubs in Italy, Germany, Spain, EPL and Portugal. The quality of Greek Players to Australian players is superior.

You got your ass handed to you!

1. Match fixers should be handed life bans

2. If you my country had our arses handed to us, then please show me the result when it happened in football.

Really? I wasn't the malarka who started saying the Socceroos will thrash Greece 4 - 0.

How does it feel to be beaten by a side that was beaten by Faroe Islands (presuming of course the Greeks didn't do a job in those games like you believe is not the case)?

Tell FIFA to get their Lawyers onto it.

They should have a few Lawyers they can hire.

1. If they could prove it, I'm sure they would. You seem to think you're own team is lower than pond scum though.

2. Still waiting.
