I'm no Liverpool fan but you can't argue with the monumental affect he has had on the club and that it is unlikely to EVER be replicated. I doubt there is enough money to buy a replacement and unlikely of there was one that he would go to Liverpool.
Gerrard's WC has been poor and he has largely failed to recreate his Liverpool form and influence for his country which is the blight on his career......oh and a title!

Sanchez to LFC doesn't make sense while we still have Suarez/Studge/Sterlo/Coutinho/Suso and possibly Lallana. IF we deal Suarez to Barca / Madrid, why take Sanchez (and his wages) as part of the deal, as it will still leave us overloaded out wide. We would need a goal scorer to replace Suarez (Cavani, Falcao, Benteke, Lukaku, Muller could all be viable options with 85+mil from a Suarez deal). I would really like Muller if Suarez does go, seems to be a really professional player in his approach on and off the field, knows what it takes to win, is physically capable of playing in the EPL, and can play 9 / 10 / 7 / 11.

I agree. If we lose Suarez I see us almost always choosing to play one up front (Sturridge) either being replaced by Lambert/Borini or assisted by one of them, depending how games go. But I think we still need another man in there, Muller is the best case scenario, someone who can play wide forward, up top, attacking mid, everything.

Barca and LFC apparently meeting in London this week to discuss 80mil cash or cash plus Sanchez for Suarez. As good as Shanchez has been this WC I still feel he is not what LFC need, especially after Lallana coming in and the link to Origi and Markovic. We could also use the cash to get a more suitable CB (Hummels, De Vrij), and LB (maybe Martins Indi).
Also, there is rumour that Glen Johnson is off to QPR if Benfica sell Maxi Pereira to LFC. Would rather De Sciglio, or maybe Debuchy.
