Not in the new world of EPL and pay tv. Most manure supporters seem to think liverpool is the rival, wheras scousers know the real rivalry.

I blame a couple of biffs at the Downs who set the famous downs curse in motion by saying in the club about 6 weeks ago that they were going to win it...... :shock: :shock:

To be fair they have been saying they were going to win it soon for the past 24 years - the rest of us are still waiting for it to come true but they keep on saying it.

liverpool will go back in 5th 6th placed wilderness again now, every 6 or 7 years they have a second place tilt...but no real threat to the big boys!
