Moyes facing the sack

Post by Red-4-Life »

Lots of reports going around that Moyes will be sacked shortly. Nothing confirmed just yet.

He's doing a great job, why sack him?

Why brief the press about an imminent sacking? They wouldn’t be hoping to flush out a resignation from Davey would they?

No rich Champions League next season for this big club would spell trouble for any manager.

And what was that purported quote by some manager last year? "I'd rather be the manager that follows the manager who replaced Fergie..."

if moyes goes (sorry when) I believe it wont be a 5 year payout.. he had key performance targets that he didn't meet, I think you will find a one year payout the likely scenario, mind you that is 4 million pounds...

Didn't he have a plan????

Yes, although keeping the fans interested in something and on edge trying to avoid relegation was no longer considered acceptable by the board.
