Now that Spalletti is free of his Zenit wages, or will soon be, this is the right time for somebody to bring him back to Serie A. He's a good tactician. I was hoping he'd be considered for the Italy role before Conte got it.

After watching Torino throw away points throughout the season, god it was nice to snatch a win from what looked like being a draw. First win against Inter in as long as I can recall!

Have to say after watching both Inter and AC against Toro in recent weeks, both teams are a shadow of what they once were.

Juve marching on, no one will stop them from here!

I'll beat everyone to the punch - few decisions went our way this morning, I haven't seen the pen incident yet but it would make up for the clear handball we didn't get in the 1st half.

Typically difficult game vs Chievo away next week.

Strinic a bargain and looks great at LB for free.

Seen the first goal but not the offside angle so can't comment on that one. With regards to the penalty it was very difficult to even see what it could have been for, anyway that's the way it goes I suppose.

However I thought Benitez was a bit to pious with his comments after the match.

All the Results going our way overnight Samp getting thrashed and Lazio tripping up at cesena.

Good to see Gabbiadini have a good game and score. Roma now only -4

Our game was very dour, not many chances at all. Allan was a beast in midfield for Udinese.

Didn't give Pogba a sniff and embarrassed him on a few occasions.

Given Pogba's penchant for destroying us every time we play sounds like a player we could use

Toro flogged Samp and made me a very happy man. Looking good to challenge for a Euro place in the 2nd half of the season.

Carlitos Tevez gets another one past Milan, Bonucci with a comical celebration and a goal for Morata. A good win vs Milan :D

Forza Granata!! 4 wins in a row (for the first time since 1978) and undefeated in 9games. 3 points from a Euro place now, looking good defensively and now offensively.

We are flying but I'm just waiting for a shiraz up somewhere

Within touching distance of Roma and direct qualification for the CL

A disappointing draw given Roma had dropped points earlier in the day. But massive credit to Cesena who were superb. They gave Juve little, pushed for 90 minutes and had chances to win it.

Agreed. Although we played poorly, you can not take anything away from Cesena. If not for Buffon and some poor finishing, they could have been 2 or 3 up after 20 minutes. When we took the lead I thought we would just grind out a result but with a missed penalty it wasn't to be. I am not really going to complain about the result, but, with Roma dropping points, I had the feeling that a 9 point gap would have almost been the end of the championship.

Mighty Cesena! Did nopt see that result coming, nor Napoli losing.
Torino blew a good opportunity to beat Cagliari, only Brkic making 3 point blank saves denied us. Man these late Sunday nights are killing me at work on Monday!!!

I watched the second half of Torino - Cagliari, Brkic made those crucial saves and Toro lacked the clinical edge with their final pass to be more of a threat.

Palermo were very impressive, Dybala is an unbelievable player and Vazquez also impressed.
Napoli on the other hand

Torino, unbeaten in 11!
Lucky to not concede 3 penalties against Fiorentina, and teh one we did, was saved well by Padelli.
Great character to equalize at teh end too!

next up Napoli at home, usually a good game and hopeful that Napoli are having an off day. No Mertens will help!

This whole Parma situation is shocking and how it got to this stage I don't know. A few people have a lot to answer for, including Ghirardi and the Lega. How was the siutation allowed to progress to the point where players have not been paid since July and that stewards or electricity cannot be afforded? This new owner keeps making promises, but so far is coming up quite empty.

2 different owners in less than 6 months, just sounds wrong on so many levels. Things like this make Serie A look very very poor.

Higuain will be back which is obviously a massive in. I remember this fixture 2 seasons ago when Dzemaili got a hat trick and Cavani scored a quality FK. Always a good game massive for us only 3 pts behind Roma who have Juve.

The Parma situation is an absolute disgrace

Farcical situation at Parma. Heaps more misery on a already struggling Serie A.

This will probably lend credence to arguments for a 18 team league. May not be a bad thing, condense the finances and players to make competitiveness both on and off the pitch the number one priority.

It is a really sad situation with Parma. I tend to agree with the argument that the number of clubs needs to be reduced, but I would argue that it needs to happen all the way down to Lega Pro. This happens with smaller clubs each and every year. I realise things like poor infrastructure, public ownership and low television revenue and gate receipts are problems faced by all clubs nationwide, and are problems which do not have readily available solutions, but you wonder when the FIGC and the Lega will step in and put an end to this. Fiorentina, Napoli, Torino and Parma are all massive clubs with a pedigree for national and European success and they have all failed in the last 12 years. Surely enough is enough.

GLIK GLIK GLIK
6 goals for a CB, not bad at all El Capitano.

Torino march on undefeated in about 12 now. Good game against Napoli, quite even, but reckon Toro edged it and were worthy winners.
