Re: Serie A discussion

Post by Russki Claw »

I am so fed up with the coverage of Serie A on Bein Sport this season, it is pathetic. E.g. Verona and Torino was an 8:30pm Ko and instead they show a replay of La Liga, just crap.

Torino still undefeated, if you see the highlights, checkout the penalty given to Verona for nothing over than an air swing by the striker that then fell over and gets a penalty. Pathetic refereeing.

As I suspected, Inter looking very good as are Roma.
Juve still shaky Juventino or just gelling? I have not seen their game.

It was a frustrating game. You could see some players were not on the same page and nothing really clicked.

Ok, the hunt is on. Juve on the board. A win against Frosinone would set up a big early match with Napoli on the weekend.

Napoli were strepitoso against Lazio

Insigne is on fire we just need to stay tight at the back.

Allan looks to be very good business at €9 million plus the Zapata two year loan

Jorginho has a new lease of life as well

A midweek win for both Juve and Napoli sets up a huge weekend match.

Important it was

Great result but the performances are the most encouraging thing- the players seem to have bought in to Sarri's philosophy.

Allan is massive for us and Jorginho has been reborn

Insigne's game is at a different level now. Higuain now has 10 goals in his last 7 games at the San Paolo.

Massive two games now vs Milan and Fiorentina

Napoli were a step above us, it was a very poor performance by Juve.

Torino going along nicely, good win with 9 men. Palermo are a good team from what I saw.

Spot on, they held the ball very impressively. Not fun to watch even though we had chances to draw level if only Zaza got his head up. We were simply out played. Napoli need to take that form into Europe.

More importantly we need to keep taking that form into Serie A.

Its difficult to take the Europa League seriously before the semi's & you see the Champions League carrot dangling.

I know Milan aren't a great side at the moment but that was impressive

Insigne's first goal was 18 passes in the making

Ticking along ok, massive vs Fiorentina now

Another super performance but Fiorentina do have real quality.

The players look like they have real belief in Sarri's plan and Hamsik is now showing his real quality not just in fits and spurts

Higuain is just lethal

Have a look at my last few posts over the last few weeks - all about him

You're right this looks like it's his year and his time to shine

I just love that it's a local lad carrying them forward - did you see the tifo before the game??

I love him

Good win, Pipita on target again.

This team is still growing but they have to believe they can win something this season.

Was a banana skin this morning potentially but really should have won by more

Midweek vs Palermo at home looking forward to it

5 in a row

2 goals conceded in the last 7 games. We conceded over 40 last year, imperative this continues

Higuain........ Again!!!

Good last 5 games, starting to click to the coaches game plan but more importantly playing really attractive
football. The next 3 games difficult but winnable in my opinion, genoa away, udinese home and hellas verona
away before the big game against inter at home, enjoying being a supporter always but at the moment very happy
:D :D :D :D :D :D

Not for us however, just can't get any winning momentum going.

or Torino, in real trouble atm, Padelli has cost about 3 goals in the last 2 games alone.

Should be a cracker derby on Sunday morning

Maybe cos' your NOT getting the favourable calls this year as previous years from the Ref's!
Who would of thought Chiellini would get a red card for doing what he does best.

Roma will win the title, and get all the help from the ref's!

it was like a nightmare re-run of last years game, should have won, should have drawn but lost with the last kick of the game.
Came down to GK's in the end, Buffon world class and Padelli = to serie C, plus the absence of 8 first choice players through injury didn't help.

How Buffon saved both of el capitano Glik's 2 headers I'll never know.

At least Allegri had the class to concede Toro were probably unlucky not to win.

On a bright note, we at least are scoring against old lady regularly and the derby della mole is of interest again.

Forza Toro!

Inter next

Agreed and it can only be a good thing. The last few years have been what the Derby needed.

yes good win, bit tense there at the end but overall we were the better team,
so good to sit at the top of the summit and hopefully can get a result at bologna
next week before another huge game at home against Roma, interesting next few
weeks for sure, hopefully we will be enjoying the xmas break top or near the top
