Will the Chilean stay? Or join his mate @ Arsenal?

Hopefully we can reel Lazio and Roma in now and win the Europa League
Lazio second and Napoli third by season's end.

Didn't see Napoli drawing with Parma nor Lazio losing to Inter. Opportunities lost.

I had a strong feeling both roman teams would lose and won some money on those results.
Luckily i can keep my winnings cause i just knew that Napoli would either lose or draw this game
as everytime we have an opportunity to make up ground we blow our chance.

We can still claim a top 3 spot with a home win against cesena this week and hope for roman
slip ups but our main hope is getting a beneficial result from the rome derby in a fortnight and then
beating lazio at home in the last round, however trying to get a result against juve will be tough
Anyways intersting last 3 rounds in serie a and we shall have to wait and see.
Hope also in our europa league clash against dnipro but thats difficult and even if we squeeze through
to the final, beating sevilla will be extremley difficult, that is of course unless fiorentina can pull off a
miracle at home against them. Mmm interesting

Cesena, I know you don't like small teams but you play us at home. We will have an eye on the CL final but we don't like losing at home either. I still tip you guys to make the top 3. The Lazio game will be massive.

With the Coppa final moved up to next week, any news of a telecast?

It was sweet that despite not having to beat Inter, and playing a second team, we did get the win.

Definitely a nice feeling. Although Handanovic helped us out a little. Still no news for a Coppa telecast?

I called SBS, they were going to show it but because of the late move can't fit it into the schedule. Nothing back from ESPN yet, and BeIN aren't showing it.

Disappointing from beIN Sports again. Their coverage has been woeful lately. I think this round has been the first round in a very long time that they have shown more than 2-3 games live on TV and they are still not showing the remaining games live online. Hopefully ESPN pull through. I emailed SBS and asked them to reconsider. Doubtful it will have any impact on their decision but there is nothing to lose.

Those cupable are in Italy. Who moves a game, a cup final at that, one week out? Why not move it when Juventus made the CL semi finals? And while we're at it, why schedule the final in the first place a day after the Champions League final - talk about having little faith.

Hard for broadcasters, especially foreign ones, to then have to scramble just because of the incompetency of those in Italy.

Juventus Club Adelaide are trying to organise something for the Coppa.

As for BeIn, I hope they get a second channel. They try to juggle too many leagues. Another channel would free up space. The Connect service used to show all other Serie A games that weren't on tv, not sure why they don't anymore. When I asked, the response was vague - just 'we can't right now'.

Agree, Bein has been woeful of late. May as well cancel it.

Maxi Lopez looks like he is carrying 10kg, but scored two including one where he burnt off the Chievo defender with his blistering pace and calmly slotting it.
Cerci being linked back to Toro. Should have stayed in the 1st place!

And there's number two :D

A close game, we could have won it in normal time with Matri's disallowed goal, they were close with Djordjevic hitting both posts in extra time. But finally we have the 10th Coppa, so time for a silver star to join the three gold ones on the shirt.

If the linesman got it right the match would have been over before Djordjevic had a chance to perfect his geometry

I could pretty much say the same thing for last night's win.

I was assuming we would get a draw against Roma.

Hopefully Rafa is already concentrating on Real Madrid.

The players will be as switched in as they can be at that level.

Not much Rafa can do for them now.

That game was incredible, it really had everything. It's up there with one of the best two matches I've seen this season.

A shame Icardi had to score and go level with Toni at the top of the scorers chart.

Question for the guys who follow Serie A.

How many of the Italian Under 21 squad could be called regular first team starters for Serie A clubs?

From the past season you could say Crisetig, Rugani, Berardi, Zappacosta, Romagnoli, Viviani (in Serie B), Sabelli (B), Leali and Sportiello were regulars. Others made 15-20 appearances or so.
