I'm pretty sure Hilario is being released as well.

Good clearing from Arsenal point of view. Replacing with great talents would be awesome; the league will definitely be more competitive next season.

West Ham have finally agreed to buy Andy Carroll for around $25m. He'll suit the Big Sam 'lump it' style they'll be playing.

Way to go King Kenny, another great piece of business by Liverpool

Sunderland have signed Swedish winger David Moberg Karlsson from IFK Goteborg.
The 19-year-old, who can also play up front, has signed a four-year contract on Wearside and moves to the Stadium of Light for an undisclosed fee.
The forward began his career with IFK Mariestad before joining Goteborg in 2010, making his senior debut for the Allsvenskan club as a 17-year-old.
He made 28 appearances for Goteborg in all, including 10 during the current campaign.
Moberg Karlsson is a Swedish U19 international and was in action for his country against France earlier this month.
He played alongside former Black Cat Tobias Hysen with Goteborg and won the Swedish Cup last month, appearing as a substitute against Djurgardens IF in the final.

Judging by the recent signings the number of English players in the EPL will decline again this season.

Liverpool - Toure, Iago Aspas, Luis Alberto, & Simon Mignolet all but signed apparently. Very happy with the swift nature of our signings thus far. Mkhitaryan & Papadopoulos on top of these would be an amazing transfer window for us.

Suarez going in the opposite direction? Whilst they certainly don't have to sell him, like Spurs with Bale, I get the feeling they're holding out for a big payday.

Amazing signing if you get him. 100k a week too. Not too shabby.

I agree, he is all class. Need another 2 or 3 signings of his stature for us to really be taken seriously, but its a start (assuming we actually get him)

Yeah, I reckon Suarez is off. Sturridge, Alberto, Borini, Mkhitaryan, Coutinho, Aspas, & Henderson should be enough attacking options though.

Sturridge has potential, Coutinho looks the goods and i think Mkhitaryan will be a decent player however not too convinced about the others, Alberto is only young but has virually only played reserve football and cant see him doing much this year, will be interesting to see how Aspas goes and Henderon is far from attacking in my opinion.

Henderson played left attacking mid & centre attacking mid for much of the past season and he performed very well there. I've got no qualms with him being in an attacking role. His energy, pressing, & tactical awareness is superb.

Alberto will be interesting. From what I've seen he looks like a wonderfully gifted technical player, think he could be a bit of a surprise package this year to many. Aspas I'm unsure of, though his stats are impressive for a relegation scrap.

Don't agree with this at all. His movement, for such a young player, is first class. Had a nightmare of a run last season with injuries, but given an injury free season, I think he could easily find himself a regular in the side.

Agree injuries didnt help him, but if given the opportunity will need to start finding the back of the net.

If he gets a shot at centre forward, he'll fit the net regularly I think. Doesn't suit the wide role that he was given at the beginning of the season in my opinion. His first touch is less than stellar, which lets him down. If he can improve that, he could become a genuine option for the wide forward role though.

He's quite good at the U21 level, but Sturridge is a better option.

If Cavani goes to Chelsea then i think Suarez is as good as gone.

Italian journalists were stating that the deal was done for 58 mill, at like 140k per week.

That's bloody expensive, and as much as i love Cavani ( i prefer him to Falcao for instance), it's always a big risk.

It works out to about the same as the Torres deal, and i guess that means we'll probably buy one more player ( Van Ginkel apparently), and that's it.
