You have an unhealthy infatuation for all things Arsenal.Nice One Cyril wrote:Michu

Ps: could do a lot worse than Michu.
Some people tell me that we professional players are soccer slaves. Well, if this is slavery, give me a life sentence.

Michu is better than any striker they currently have though isn't he?
Spurs don't have much up front either :s.

Re: Wenger chasing Spanish Superstar
It's not so much that Michu is rubbish (although he's obviously not as good as Adebayor ), it's just typical Wenger to go after a £10m player rather than spend £25-30m. He can't bring himself to spend the owners' money.Litmanen wrote:Nice One Cyril wrote:Michu

As i said, wait and see. There will be several big signings for Arsenal this summer.
Re: Wenger chasing Spanish Superstar
Michu is a very decent player, although he plays as a shadow striker more than the lone role. Not the player we need imo.
Where is this link NOC?
Also for doc, where is the link that cesc said no to an arsenal return? Reports have suggested that he would welcome the move if other big signings were to be named also, never has he said he wouldn't return. Worry bout your lot losing whatever half decent lads you have, of which, name those whocould cut it in any semi big league even.....

I have not been able to find anything about Michu or Cesc either.
Back on to Michu though, i have to agree that he is not the type of player we need. Great player but is he going to help us get to that next level, i dont think so.
We need some BIG names.

Cesc, Rooney, Cesar and a couple of good defenders would be nice!

It's an EXCLUSIVE so it must be true
You lot are far too easy to get going

Re: Wenger chasing Spanish Superstar
Wow, the game really is fk'd at the moment when people heckle your club for not trying to throw 30 million pounds at a player, fair play lots of clubs now are doing it but to rubbish a club like Arsenal for actually being sensible, wow.Nice One Cyril wrote:It's not so much that Michu is rubbish (although he's obviously not as good as Adebayor ), it's just typical Wenger to go after a £10m player rather than spend £25-30m. Ever thought that maybe he actually wants Michu, maybe he's buying the players he needs/wants rather than just spending as much as he can then trying to fit them into a team?

I cannot believe you sometimes. Knew you were to bring up the wanyama situation as he may be the only one.DOC wrote:is that why ramsey urged wenger to buy wanyama for 10 mil?Chaos wrote:Michu is a very decent player, although he plays as a shadow striker more than the lone role. I used to make an effort to get the Villans going as well, but they're sooooo shite at the moment, I just feel sorry for them

This is how I feel about Liverpool now. I just can't find the motivation to wind them up anymore. It's also not really worth it if Nicky Tanner is never on here to take the p**s out of either.Nice One Cyril wrote: I used to make an effort to get the Villans going as well, but they're sooooo shite at the moment, I just feel sorry for them

Re: Wenger chasing Spanish Superstar
I read that Arshavin has left on a free. Great bit of biz that was by Arsene, £15m to buy, shiraz all to sell.
At least when Spurs buy a dud, we can sell him to Sunderland.
(Don't mention Bentley)

He might not be Spanish, but some hot news from the UK is that Argentine Gonzalo Higuain is very close to pen to paper at Arsenal, possibly within the next week.
Not sure on this if it is true, can he play a lone role as I cannot see Wenger changing his formation for signings, even if I don't agree with him....

Ledley, hooper, ambrose, forster, wanyama, Wilson, izaguirre, rogic have all been linked to epl clubs in the past 6-12 monthsChaos wrote:I cannot believe you sometimes. Re: Wenger chasing Spanish Superstar
Also more talks linking us with Rooney. Gazidis has also come out and said we can now start spending big and we will have atleast 70 million pounds every season on transfers moving forward with some huge profits to be made over the next 3 years.
Everyone on here gave me sh*T when i said Arsenal will eventually start spending big and ove the next few seasons we will be in the driving seat.......Things are shaping up already!

Hopefully your next big buy is better than Arshavin.
