David Beckham

David Beckham gets into a taxi and notices the driver looking at
him in the rear-view mirror.

After a couple of minutes the driver says, "OK, give me a clue."
Beckham says, "I had a glittering career at Manchester United, played in
America and got over a 100 caps for England. Is that enough?"

Driver replies, "No, you thick sherry. Where do you want to go?"

I don’t understand why Pogba and Vidal are linked to Man Utd on a weekly basis?

Every time I read football gossip column it appears half the European continent is linked with Man Utd. Either they have a scouting network taskforce the size of a small African nation's population or a lot of footballer's agents are telling a lot of porkys!

Nice to see a bit of a turn around this morning. Although I wouldn't read much into it as 1. Its Olympicos and 2. Once Man Utd scored their third they switched off and welcomed the Greeks back into the tie. Any of the other Quarter finalists will wipe the floor with Man Utd if they plan to continue playing this way.

Wow what a cabernet house performance today.

I really don't understand why Moyes is playing so many players out of position?

Fellani isn't a hold midfielder.
Kagawa isn't a winger.
Mata isn't a winger.

Sadly if the club wants to get back to glory days either a number of years are required developing new players or a lot of money will have to be spent on bringing in new talent (I'd rather the first option but that's me)

I reckon they'll give him next season. The club would look pretty bad if Fergie said back your manager and they didn't give him 12 months.

One thing I hate about the EPL is the total emphasis on results to the extent that player development and system implementation is almost ignored. I know I'm not a very good Man Utd fan in saying this but I'm happy to see what Liverpool are doing. They have proven if you back a good manager and give them time to develop a system the results will come eventually.

Fellani is slow and undisciplined
Mata looks like he's never played football before
Kagawa- Why this guy continues to be overlooked amazes me

the mancs are always linked to players to get the supporters hopes up. remember when they pretended they were in for schjneider? it's all to make people think they still have pulling power.

I have a feeling its also to do with the players agents trying to drive their price up as well.

Exactly right on Fellani. So why play him in a position that requires that?
Has Mata played on the wing before?
Kagawa's omission amazes me as well.

Who says he's a good manager?
His system at Everton was based around headed goals from Fellani and Cahill, average manager at best. Martinez is proving how average Moyes IS.

Come on! You know that most Manchester United fans don't actually come from or in fact have never even been to Manchester. Surrey is normally as close as they get.

Well that's what the style the EPL can encourage. Moyes did great things with Everton on a budget Chelsea uses in one transfer window. Obviously this is a step up for Moyes.

What a crock of shite. how many headed goals or route 1 football goals have liverpool or city scored this year? Do Chelsea and and Arsenal pump it long? other than stoke (and a lesser degree west ham)who is regarded as long ball. Moyes is clueless. Mata, Fellani theres 63million wasted pounds. Martinez is showing how overated moyes is. dont discredit the epl coz your team is currently the laughing stock.

Of course not but a number of other clubs do that sort of style. Its not something I agree with. Its just a sad state of affairs that I am comparing Man Utd's style of football to clubs like West Ham and Stoke! I guess when comparissions like this are now coming up its no surprise they are in the position they are in.
I agree though at this stage Mata and Fellani are £63m of wasted money.

One thing I would like to hear from Moyes and the club is exactly what direction they are heading in. They come out and say they want things to improve. But what is Moyes plan for next season? Is he planning a complete culture and style change. Obviously he's not going to come out and say "I want to clean out much of the squad" but what sort of style and system is he looking to employ?

Apparently Fergie had agreement with Moyes that he wouldn't disrupt the backroom staff. Fergie was furious when he did. I wonder what will come of this!

Moyes is not up to the job, simple. Will be very surprised if he is still there next season.......You take the job of being in charge of the current Champions, you should at absolute bare minimum be making the top four.

Wenger will be going too, so Moyes might be heading south

True. Only someone really stupid would offer odds of 1000/1 on Arsenal finishing above Liverpool
