We've looked better since Romeu started getting a gig.
The only concern is Luiz, other than that i think the rest of our players are in good enough form to see off Valencia at home.

Re: Champions League
Olympiakos 3 Vs Arsenal 1
Dortmund 2 Vs Marseille 3
Chelsea 3 Vs Valencia 0
Genk 1 Vs Leverkusen 1
Porto 0 Vs Zenit 0
APOEL 0 Vs Shaktar 2
Barcelona 4 Vs Bate 0
Plzeri 2 Vs Milan 2
Teams through are
Chelsea
Leverkusen
Arsenal
Marseille
Zenit
APOEL
Barcelona
Milan
I think that Zenit APOEL would have been favourite to finish 3rd and 4th not 1st and 2nd.

Re: Champions League
big game against real madrid tomorrow morning... where we have half our starting 11 out with injuries
as long as we dont lose we are through... otherwise we have to rely on goal difference which is dangerous

i said David Luiz was the best current defender in the EPL relating to form. I was right because a few days later he won the player of the month.....next

Maradona's ? :p
We didn't play a high line today, That's why Luiz played better, he's not good when he's chasing, he reads the ball alot better when he's facing the opponents goal :p

Re: Champions League
Hardly a glowing reference. For the money he's paid I'd expect him to be able to handle both situations.Litmanen wrote:We didn't play a high line today, That's why Luiz played better, he's not good when he's chasing, he reads the ball alot better when he's facing the opponents goal :p
Time for some righteous indignation

I can only imagine the reactions from Greek fans toward Germany (in general) after these results.Željko Jurin wrote:Veggos wrote:TGJ, what happened to your Olympiakos....lol

Re: Champions League
What a presser from AVB! Fair sack between his legs to slam the press the way he did. Admirably but risky, he'll be dragged through hell if this chav mini recovery hasn't got legs.
best bit:
“We have become your target and we accept that, but now you have to accept that today was a brilliant win and now it is unfortunate for you guys because you have to report on a brilliant win for Chelsea qualifying in first place. This must be difficult for you all to do.”
Easily the most likeable rival manager.
