RIP Gary Speed.

Post by BrickTop »

Gary Speed has passed away at the age of 42. Not sure on details yet.
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George.

Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of fucking car keys now, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-fucking-spicuous now, is it?

Confirmed, he was found hanged in his home.

Shocking news, very sad to hear whether it be a footballer or anyone. RIP

Was a guest on BBC's Saturdays football focus, have watched it and not the slightest inclination of what the next 24 hours would bring

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas.

RIP

Robbie Savage tweeted that he actually spoke with him hours before and had no reason to be worried
about his state of mind.

Sad news, thoughts with his family and 2 young boys
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

GARY SPEED'S family have been overwhelmed by the support they have received since the Wales manager's death on Sunday.

Tributes poured in for the former Wales, Leeds, Everton, Newcastle, Bolton and Sheffield United midfielder from across the sporting and political world as football mourns the loss of a hugely popular figure.

Speed's agent and best man Hayden Evans spoke outside the family home in Poor Quality, where the 42-year-old was found hanged.

Evans said: "Gary's family would sincerely like to thank all the people that have sent messages of condolence and tributes in what is a very difficult time.

"We have been overwhelmed by the support and it really has helped.

"We would ask that the family are now given the respect of some privacy to just grieve on their own."

The inquest into Speed's death will open today.
The older I get the better I was.
