After 3 games? No mate. Arsenal needed the likes of Wilshire and Vermalin in the squad. Smacking them about when they have had 3 great players leave, and other key players injured is unfair and silly. I doubt they will make top for but top 6, yes.

SWANSEA defender and vice-captain Alan Tate broke his leg in a freak accident while playing golf today.
The English Premier League player was a passenger in a golf cart at a south Wales club when the driver lost control.

The 28-year-old former Manchester United trainee was diagnosed with a broken tibia in his left leg after being taken to the hospital.
It was unclear how long the injury would keep him sidelined.

Tate is in his 10th season with the Swans and has played more than 300 games for the club. He was on the bench for Saturday's goalless draw at home against Sunderland.

couldn't believe it when I saw the score this morning......thought it was 2-0 to arsenal then looked closer and saw an 8

man city sent a message to united before their game by beating spurs convincingly...........and united sent a pretty clear message straight back to them by annihilating arsenal

Yea arsenal lost their important players, so as united. We have our captain and arguebly the best player for us over the past fee season (vidic), Ferdinand etc. I think united did well, those young bloods fought for every single ball is the key to the success. Salute fergie.

Liverpool is good this week. Man city is awesome, united is fking awesome

Yep well done to the MANCS, very good side with great balance all over the park. Ash Young buy of the season - spewing had him as captain for fantasy league but dropped him for Saurez this week

We are not in a good place right now, & the international break could of not come at a better time for us

dont get ahead of yourself just yet, 3 games in

look at the Arsenal lineup, one of the worst they have put out for a long time, especially against united

I don't think Fergie will be too happy with the defensive performance from United either. Poor as Arsenal were they still managed 20 shots. Young and Nani repeatedly failed to track their full backs, Jenkinson kept getting into great positions to cross the ball, just couldn't hit the target or there were no Arsenal runners in the box. While Smalling was great going forward he got ripped apart by Arshavin (bloke just couldn't finish) and left RVP unmarked at the far post for his goal. De Gea was a bit shaky at times as well, that shot from Walcott should never have gone in.

End of the day Arsenal were suicidal in their defending, caught way to high and they all seemed to be on different wavelengths when they tried to hold a line. Only one United goal didn't come directly from and Arsenal defensive mistake.

United hungrier, ruthless, more confident and more cohesive. They didn't even play particularly well and ripped the Gunners to shreds.

Arsenal were gutted, you could see it on Fergies face by the end of it that he knew Arsenal weren't their usual selves.. I believe City made a far bigger statement absolutely embarrassing and thrashing a much stronger tottenham team.

Arsenal could have been level at one point (and I don't mean the start of the game).

I was very happy with the result being a ManU fan, but very disappointed with the gooners! What a weakened side they had on display, as much as it pains me to say, but I hope Arsene can keep his job and make arsenal a force once again!

That's a scoreline I'm Gunner masturb8-2.

But seriously as an arsenal fan its shattering. even if wenger does sign anyone he's left it too late and will be paying over the odds for players. Fergie does the right thing by getting the transfers out of the way early and letting jones, young and de gea settling into the team before the season starts.

To be fair, asssnal lost their x2 best players and had x3 suspended and another 2-3 injured!
Too many youngsters in team and not enough experienced or leaders tbh!

If anyone can get assnal back on track, it's arsene!

Their own fault.

Their own fault.

Bad luck, it happens.
