He's got a point. The Arsenal player only screwed himself when he slapped Barton. He gave Barton the chance to go down.

barton is a handy player but a loose cannon. trouble follows him everywhere he goes on and off the park. that hair cut wont win him too many fans either!! :lol:

Even Wenger wouldn't say 100% that they would not sign him. Attitude sucks though which is why the top sides would be wary of him.

Joey Barton = chardonnay. Surprisingly another chardonnay robbie savage got it right. Barton and Gervinho went down easy but in both cases their was minimal contact.

Couldn't disagree with that. But also couldn't disagree with most of what he said on Twitter.

Gervinho's a prick for diving in the first place and a bigger prick for slapping Barton. Song is just a dirty champagne and should have been sent off.

Listening to Wilshere it seems like Arsene's whingeing has worn off on his players.

Agreed on all counts NOC.

Barton doesn't have a leg to stand on (no pun intended) when it comes to these statements.
