While well done to Man U , the EPL has become boring in terms of winners.[/quote]
Very True. Disappointing standard in the Premier League this year. Had Man City and Tottenham not been as average as they were at times this year, Arsenal may even have missed the top 4. Even Liverpool who were having a shocking season until not too long ago are well entrenched in the top 6. Shows the standard of the Premier League this year IMO.

Yep, well done on title number 19, they still need a point but I wouldn't bet against them!
Call Fergie whet you want but he is a winner!

Chelsea also had 8 crappy weeks. Livepool looking stronger, Chelsea and Man City will refresh the squad, and Arsene finally thinks he needs to buy some players.
Man U will be in the market for a keeper and maybe another striker (if Berba goes).
I think there will definitely be a different dynamic to the league next year.

One post and it's because United won the league.

Re: MAN UTD LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Possibly one of the most boring title races of all time. Even the relegation battle isn't exciting. I loved the days when WBA with Earnshaw and Kieran Richardson were fighting for survival, This West Ham team play terrible football, WBA are boring, Wolves play terrible football, Blackburn are crap, Wigan are terrible to watch.. I wouldn't mind if QPR, Norwich, Notts Forrest and Cardiff were all allowed into the bloody league just so there'd be teams who would play good football. Even Sunderland have had an awful second half of the year performance wise.
The best parts of this year for me have been seeing Bolton actually play good football at times, watching Stoke bully teams into a top 10 finish and seeing the Daglish lead Liverpool become the best team to watch since January.
Next year had better be exciting or I'll be lost to German Football forever!

Trying to be the least bit sore as possible this seasons Premiership was won due to poor performances from teams that were in contention for the title, you look at many of United's performances and they're below championship winning par. Congrats to them anyway, if anyone did deserve the title it was them.

I really don't get the big deal, you have only just achieved what we did in 1976

Re: MAN UTD LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
We overtook our nearest rivals, and of course the number will get higher now as there have been more years. So whoever overtakes you (as no dynasty lasts forever) will obviously have to go one higher again.
Anyhow, it's your week, so I am only messing.

Both Blackburn and Manure should be docked points for orchestrating the result. That last 5 minutes were a disgrace and the FA should investigate. It was plain for all to see.

Wolves away next week for them. Blackpool travel to OT to play Man U B team.
Scene is set perfectly.

Thats even worse. If it were cricket, racing or nearly any other sport there would be life bans. Shame on both teams.El Diego wrote:Bomber wrote:Both Blackburn and Manure should be docked points for orchestrating the result. That last 5 minutes were a disgrace and the FA should investigate. I still dont get it why ppl saying this is a dissapointing season .. i remember 2-3 seasons ago some forumites here claim that SERIE A standard is better, cos there's not much gap between the first to middle, and from middle team to bottom ..
This season the gap in EPL is getting closer, then ppl say the standard is low ..
im still scratching my head out to find out why !
