I see the big clubs after more cash from tv rights , yes lets make it even harder for the smaller clubs to win trophies.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... wdown.html

Lets hope enough EPL clubs vote against this.

A very enjoyable night of football, apart from the Stoke keeper only having one arm apparently. :D

And Man United trying to send me to sleep

BTW, if we didn't know it already, De Bruyne is comfortably the best player in the PL.

The little reverse ball to Sane was the highlight, but his weight and timing of pass was wonderful for 3 goals.

Over 80,000 fans at Wembley for Spurs v Liverpool, a new record for the EPL.

Looks like the new WHL might not be large enough for such a big club as Spurs!

Why was it at Wembley?

Am sure that when their other stadium is ready they'll go back to visiting Wembley once every ten years or so.

You know very well that I support both, so I have twice the pain to put up with.

That should make you even happier.

spuds v Palace, at half time on the Sakho penalty incident (which it clearly was).

Commentator “ so it’s a penalty but no red coz Sakho didn’t have control of the ball?”
Sherwood “ Yes but it was Sakho, he’s never in control of the ball anyway”

Never a pen, Sakho ran into Gazzaniga's outstretched arm

Not a great display for Huddersfield at Bournemouth .... missed Schindler at the back...
We'll just have to bounce back in our next game against Manchester City

Hmmm... the bounce didn't go in your favour against City.

Arsenal still getting the refs calls as usual. If it keeps Wenger there I suppose it's no bad thing.

We did alright....let them play possession and have a few shots....but a team of Man City's calibre should be feigning dives in the box...they're much better than that...no qualms with the penalty and Sterling was rewarded (albeit fortunately) for his hard work with a goal in the death.

Capacity about half as big again. Not that West Ham could fill Hindmarsh

Well, that’s that then. Done & dusted before Christmas/New Year. ManCity’s title to chuck away if they feel like it.

I’ve seen a lot of games and on the quality of play so far, Arsenal will lead the next pack of 5 clubs for second place if they can hold on to Sanchez & Ozil.

I'd agree that nobody's going to catch City now, especially given the depth of their squad, but they're very beatable because their defence is so average.

As for Arsenal, they rode their luck and got decisions in their favour for a few games, but that won't sustain a challenge for long. I think United will be second, purely because Mourinho will make them hard to beat and they have an exceptional keeper, but they won't be pretty to watch.
