P&B boring you said, well ha! Arsenal up by a goal in a 7 goal thriller, Liverpool draw at Watford after defensive lapses, Burnley up at Chelsea, Man City up by 2, Rooney scores winner for Everton and surprisingly Huddersfield on top. Well if that is boring you are hard to please.

Knee high scissor tackle from behind - I agree and Newcastle should have had 2 send offs in the second half and not just 1.N5 1BH wrote:How did Kane not get a straight red for that diabolical tackle?

Alli nearly snapped, you could see him biting his lip, holding back his temper. Unlike Shelvey he's learningNice One Cyril wrote:I had to laugh cos he was the bloke that clattered (fairly I thought) Alli a few minutes earlier. I can't help but like Uncle Fester, you need players with a bit of mongrel, unfortunately he's so stupid he does his dirty work right in front of the referee, whereas Kane at least made his part of a tackle.N5 1BH wrote:Alli nearly snapped, you could see him biting his lip, holding back his temper. Not the prettiest of football, lucky to get the draw in the end, but Huddersfield had enough of the game to justify the draw.

Yep, definitely lucky in those last 20 mins with a clearance off the line by Town & near-misses by Southampton.swannsong wrote:Huddersfield Town ( 0 ) Southampton ( 0 )

Aaron hardly got a kick in that period, but at least pulled through unscathed for the trip to Tokyo. Hope he plays better for our Nation on Thursday 31 August 8.05pm (S.A. time).

There are a number of commentators complaining about the lack of time the ball is in play in the EPL this season and Huddersfield are one of the major culprits, according to the statisticians.
Some games have had the ball out of play almost as much as in play.
The older I get the better I was.

No true United supporter could find any possible joy in Liverpool winning, same as I want every team to beat the Goons, even Chelsea who I detest.Kosta Utd wrote:where have i said that?Nice One Cyril wrote:So you're a Liverpool fan now?Kosta Utd wrote:gunners torn a new one, 4 actually

liverpool and man utd fans have more in common than you realise (historically)
both working class areas, both run by scotts at the time (skankly and busby) both had a history of sympathy towards each others club, think things started turning with the period of liverpools dominance, followed by a period of United dominance
here is a quote i found on the net "in 1977, after United had beaten Liverpool in the FA Cup final, Bob Paisley's team were serenaded by the United fans in a show of support, days ahead of their first European Cup final."
anyway
wasnt happy with the liverpool win, but happy with the gunners performance and result.. would of felt the same way if it were liverpool that copped a hiding
