Man U v Villa

Post by Judge Judy »

1-1 after 30 minutes

Villa looking really good

Goals from Ronaldo (aka Manchester United Football Club) and Carew

I thought it was weird from the beginning having Neville in the middle with O'Shea at right back, and it has cost MUFC a goal as Carew is twice Neville's size and very easily won a header to equalise.

few things a picked up from the game
1) 5 minutes of injury time. are you bottle of shiraz joking me? 2 goals, 5 subs? and no injuries.. should be 3 minutes max
2) mechada is a good player but you are not gerrard, don't kiss the camera.
3) linesman was cabernet against villa in the 2nd half and the commentators were praising him

Couple things i picked up,
1.) Macheda scored with 3 minutes left so if only 3 mins added, game would've finished straight after he scored
2.) Macheda can kiss the camera anytime he shiraz wants
3.) MAAAACCHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Another three things
1) Liverpool fans hearts break.
2) Liverpool fans start talking bs about how apparently noone knew about him.
3) Liverpool fans hearts break even more, when they remember that we still have a game in hand.

That linesman got about 3 offside calls wrong for Villa when clearly Agbonlahor and Young were on. It's a shame because they would of been running towards goal!!!!

bottle of shiraz Manchester United, shiraz em.

su ck this liverpool fans....

Gary Neville has played for United long enough to realise the Reds are never beaten until the final whistle sounds.

On Sunday, the Reds were staring at a third defeat in a row with just 11 minutes remaining. But a Cristiano Ronaldo strike and then an injury-time winner from debutant striker Federico Macheda gave United a stunning victory and sent the Reds back to the top of the table.

"When we got the second goal I got the feeling we’d score again," Neville told MUTV. "We kept playing good football and I thought Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs were brilliant. They made us keep playing, which was the most important thing."

The win leaves United a point clear of Liverpool, with a game in hand. But club captain Neville says the title race could have looked a lot different were it not for the contributions of the Reds' youngsters.

"It was really important for us to get back to winning ways after losing the last two matches," he said.

"We needed the young lads today. I thought both Danny Welbeck and Kiko [Federico Macheda] handled things really well, especially Kiko. The way he held the ball up when he came on was brilliant and it was a very mature performance from the lad.

"He's made a massive improvement in the last couple of months. He’s very strong and he’s got an ice-cool head in front of goal. For a young player to have that is very rare. It’s an unbelievable moment for him and we're all very grateful to him.

"Who knows how important that goal will be? It’s certainly given us a massive lift."

Neville made his first start since
January and it proved a tough test for the Reds' skipper. Villa forwards Gabriel Agbonlahor and John Carew were both in fine form and caused the United back four plenty of headaches.

"Villa did really well throughout the game and made things difficult for us," Gary said. "I struggled physically in the first half having not played for a couple of months and I found it really tough. But I got a lot better as the game went on."
