Juventus vs Roma
On Saturday night at the Olimpico di Torino.
As far as our injury list goes, Del Piero returns to the squad after missing Bologna, which is a big boost. Cristiano Zanetti should return to the squad but will only be on the bench. Ranieri is hoping to have Grygera and Legrottalie back. Knezevic is out after playing vs Bologna, and I think Tiago is as well.
I wonder if Mexes is still banned, or if he has served his three match ban (when they play Samporia he will be suspended, just can't remember if that was his 2nd or 3rd match).
Let's ensure Roma's miserable season continues for another round of calcio!

Draw 2-2.

Re: Juventus vs Roma
Please Juve beat Roma
We'll beat Inter for you hopefully that idiot Orlandi doesn't do anything stupid which is likely.

PER LA ROMA
MERDA
PER LA ROMA
MERDA
PER LA ROMA
MERDA
FOGNA DE STA CITTA
Non smetterò mai d'insultar
quella tua maglia lurida
la storia non si dimentica
voi non siete romani
ma napoletani
in questa città che vi ospita
Finchè vedrai
curva sud, curva de merda
romanista topo de fogna
sei la vergogna della città
and this to the same tune as Juve's anti-Toro chant
Giallorosso sei un pupazzo
resta zitto c'hai rotto il cazzo
sei invidioso e complessato
da pagliaccio sei mascherato
tutta Italia lo grida in coro
romanista fai meno il boro
dici a tutti che sei romano
ma sei solo un napoletano
Re: Juventus vs Roma
Would be funny to see them suffer some more, hope you beat them. That'll teach them for relying on Mexes to shore up the defenceLaziale wrote:a warm up for the 16th?Juventino wrote:Laziale pull out all your anti-Roma chants!

I'm looking forward to it like anything, nothing like a Derby. I'd rather win both Derbies than qualify for CL to be honest.Juventino wrote:Would be funny to see them suffer some more, hope you beat them. so much so, I bit the bullet and bought myself a couple of ultras scarves off ebay. One is very ah, lets say controversial. Still looking for one of those AS ROMA MERDA scarves. Was gonna buy one at the Stadio Olimpico from one of those stalls, but it was bucketing down with rain.
Also found this brilliant doco on the derby, best I've seen. Wish there was some way to put it up here.
Re: Juventus vs Roma
Of course lets not forget that Totti considers this the biggest Derby in Italy.

Re: Juventus vs Roma
Roma have lost their four away games played so far. The last time they lost four away games on the trot was in 1998/99.
In the last ten seasons Roma have won this fixture just once.
The last time these two sides played a goalless draw in Turin was 1981.
Juventus have scored just one goal in each of their last five league home games.

Best 0-0 draw ever. Zoff waving his finger to Turone when their goal was disallowed was priceless!Bodø Glimt wrote:The last time these two sides played a goalless draw in Turin was 1981.

Beating Roma with Totti in the side is always ten times sweeter when you get to see the look on the bastard's face at the final whistle.
Re: Juventus vs Roma
You make a good point
Enjoy that Turrone video?? I imagine you would love that poor decision!

Twenty-man squad named for Roma game
This morning Juventus carried out their last training session before tomorrow night's match against Roma. Del Piero, Legrottaglie, Grygera and Zanetti trained as normal with the group and the former three also made the squad list. Director of Sport Alessio Secco was present and watched the session from the sidelines. The training was mainly physical, with a lot of running and quick passing. Buffon and Salihamidzic stayed in the gym, whereas De Ceglie first, then Poulsen and Tiago, carried out their separate programmes. Both the Under 21 international and the Portuguese, who stayed on the pitch for around thirty minutes, are at Ranieri's disposal. Youth Team players Ariaudo and Rossi have been added to the group and so twenty players in all have been called up for the game against the Giallorossi.
Here is the list in full:
3 Chiellini
4 Mellberg
8 Amauri
9 Iaquinta
10 Del Piero
11 Nedved
12 Chimenti
13 Manninger
16 Camoranesi
20 Giovinco
21 Grygera
22 Sissoko
27 Ekdal
28 Molinaro
29 De Ceglie
30 Tiago
32 Marchionni
33 Legrottaglie
40 Rossi
41 Ariaudo

Re: Juventus vs Roma
No injuries for once .
Wasn't the greatest performace in the first half but in saying that it was not as if Roma were overly dominant. Once Ale put in that wonderful free kick it all changed. Nice goal by Marchionni, and a crucial time to score as well, just after the break. From there it was basically holding on, but we were in control.
Well done Tiago, after all his troubles last season he has responded this season with two good games vs Bologna and now Roma.
Onto the Bernabeu now!
