Manchester City

Post by Lilly Whites »

Does anyone think they are going to be the real deal, they have made several class buys in the forms of

Bianchi - no doubt pure class, hit some sensational form last year for reggina

Petrov - a proven class player at Atletico Madrid, could prove to be the missing link in the gap between midfield and attack for Man City

Geovanni - once a highly rated midfielder, still has alot to offer for manchester city

i think they wont be pushing for europe, but they will certianly put pressure on the top 6... all depends on how erikson plays them in formation etc..

Bianchi will score a big amount of goals for Man City. He & Amoruso @ Reggina were the best partnership in Italy. He is regarded as one of the best strikers in Italy.

I would love to see them relegated. Then hopefully we'll go up and Millwall can run them all round London and Manchester, like we did in 98/99.

city and millwall games are now closed to the away supporters.

depends on the rest of the signings, looks like might sign elano, chiellini and or Corluka in the next few days. think we still need another top class forward if we are to seriously push for 8-5 spots. a win at the swamp would do me though.

Yes, the last 2 games were. That doesn't mean future games will be though. BUT we all know that won't stop people going. I have plenty of mates who went to Maine Road in 2002 and just kept their mouths shut.

I remember Joe Royle crying after the game at the Den.
We didn't think we'd get out of their alive if we won the game.

I have absolutely no doubt that MAN CITY will be in the top 10, SVEN will do wonders with this team, they have bought 3 quality players, and SVEN is on the hunt for some more, he has promised more, he will deliver. I do believe MAN CITY will make it to europe this year.

Ill eat my words if they dont

so your saying... that they're going to finish above the goofers aswell, as spurs are going to finish above the goofers this season 8)

My sources in Manchester tell me that he has laid down the law to the players already there that he will tolerate no more of the bitchiness that was prevalent at the club for the last few years.

He has also put his foot down on the drinking culture within the club.

Those who step out of line just once will be out of the senior squad altogether.
