La Liga

1. Real (new stye of play, Ruud will return to domination)
2. Sevilla (they'll be a driving force, they'll only just beat barca)
3. Barca (won't work well new signings in 1st season)
4. Atletico (new players = better team)
5. Valencia (villa... pique.. they won't struggle)

EPL

1. Man USA (they'll be too good, unless they stuff up bad)

3. Liverpool (i reckon the news guys will make an impression)
4. Arsenal (cesc will keep them strong)

Serie A

1. Milan (they'll outclass their opponents, maybe only just beating inter)
2. Inter (very close second...)
3. Juve (taking a gamble here, but their obviouslly made for the top 5)
4. Roma (they'll sort themselves out and cruise along)
5. who gives a sh*t...

gAy-League

1. Victory/Sydney (dont know who'll win.. don't really care)
2. (one of the above)
3. Perth (their up there)

i hope my predictions do OK this year. last year i successfully predicted the bottom three in serie A just after the season started.

I'm expecting la viola to surprise the merda (roma) and take their champions league spot. just hope we can qualify again as well.

theyve spent €70m euros. Bremen, Schalke & Stuttgart havent spent 1/3 of that between them.

yeh it says cant

Forza, this year at the Emirates 3-0 to Arsenal- no Henry

Carling Cup semi finals 5-3 to Arsenal- the kids, the kids, the kids beat the yids

Shite tart lane 2-2 draw- no Henry, Fabregas sickness!!!

the yids were very confident last year because it was only until the Lasagne  was eaten that we pipped them for 4th.

The top 4 has a purpose, because there are only 4 great teams in England, however don't be suprised if C.untski aren't in there much longer in the future.

yeah, i dont doubt that you guys are a much better side than tottenham

the reason i put them ahead of you is because i can see you guys doing what you did last year,

knocking of ya man u's and holding chelsea...but then going to bolton and portsmouth etc and getting held or beaten

your a beautiful side to watch on your day, with the type of football you play, but when your off its ugly, mainly because of the great way you can play..

i hope that this season you guys keep up a consistant style of play, i still just think you need a midfielder who can back up fabby.... you've got silva and he is a good player, but you need someone who can disperse tha ball like he does..

i agree with ur point, we were very inconsistent and it killed us....i think this year will be different....the two players that will be MASSIVE this year will be

DENILSON
ABOU DIABY

both showed their tremendous potential last year and they are stars of the future and this year i feel they will have a pivatol role in helping the Gooners not only make the top 4 but i hope crack the top two and challenge for the title.
I think it will be an interesting year and something tells me that it will be much more competitive than last year. Us and Liverpoo have recruited well imo and i think we will be right in their amongst Man USA and C.untski towards the business end of the season.

very good point

thought id stop quoting because i cbf'd scrolling all the way down haha..

denilson and abou diaby are going to be fantastic players. its just in my personal opinion that this year is going to be the year where they develop finally, and next year is when they are going to be fully fledged epl stars...

sort of like fabregas a few years back?

i also think walcott will shine this year, he has done really well in the pre-season games, and is linking up well with the midfield... his pace will tear up most defences accross the world... last year in the carling cup final he was fantastic... played some great football and showed what potential he has..

i think if henry was there this year he would come out at better player, but i think he will be fine, wegner will nurture his talent like he did with fabregas, denilson and abou diaby... but he will come out firing when he gets his chance

you guys have, with no doubt at all, the best young players, in the world...not just the epl, the world.... if there was a comp in which you could field players under 22, you guys would win hands down, just because the players you've got of that age have seen epl action etc, but this year you guys will cement a champions league spot i hope, and then the season after, i predict the title, because your young players will be stars, walcott will be up there for the golden boot and da silva will show why you bought him

that's the best piece of writing an Arsenal fan can read. Your right all the re-building that has occurred during the past 2-3 years will hopefully be rewarded this year or next year and we were still good enough to cement our spot in the UCL even during re-building.

The youngsters experience from the past 2 years is massive. Fabregas is like the veteran of the team lol he has already played in a UCL final and that experience will help him so much and the team extremely. I just got a feeling this year we will do something special. The pressure is totally off us, in 2005/2006 no one expected us to do anything without Vieira yet we went all the way to UCL final. Certainly Vieira was a big loss but Henry may be an even bigger one and i think this year has set the scene in which could be an even bigger year for Arsenal than 2005/2006.

very true, i think the best thing was, you made the ucl final, playing great football, you were never really dominated and always had an answer if play was going against you

fabregas is going to be incredible this year, i can just feel it... there is no pressure on the side to perform really, everyone is just sayin ucl should be fine... but really with the blend of youth and experience you guys could just have the edge over some of the bigger sides, chelsea, man u

really if you keep the consistancy, you could say arsenal are a title contender.. thats where you need someone to take you to bolton, keep up the confidence, and grind out a 1-0 win, your defence is solid, no doubt, you've got class in midfield as we said,

everyone says up front is your weakness, really with walcott, van persie, walcott... its a very deadly forward line, pace, presision... etc

i tell ya watch out for NICKLAS BENDTNER this year

he is a big Dane and he is a fantastic all round player. Is really suited to the English game and i think he is one of those physical players that could cause teams like Bolton troubles this year.

yeah, i thought he was good with birmingham in the championship, i think it was a good move my arsenal not letting him go to birmingham on a permenant transfer..

he is the kind of player you guys need to score like 10 goals this season, chip in with the goals vs bolton... everton.. those teams

i also think rosicky will have a great year now that he has had one year to get used to the english game
