Josè Altafini: “The Milan will take Ronaldinhoâ€￾

“They are sure that the Milan is working in order to take Ronaldinho, and to the end it will arrive to Milan. He was unthinkable to aim at the young Pato.
As far as the defense I would advise to Berlusconi to head at Lucio ".
These the declarations of the former rossonero forward.

Pescara Calcio is pleased to announce that Cetteo De Mascio has been appointed as the new Manager. Cetteo De Mascio has managed big clubs including Parma, Brescia, Bari and others.

Sounds like a good choice, lets hope he can just get us straight back up into Serie B where we belong

Parma in for Rossi Monday 16 July, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parma are the only Italian club to make an offer for Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi, according to the player’s agent.

The American-born marksman was a key player for the Ducali as his nine goals kept them in the top-flight during his loan stint last term and the Emiliani have already made a £6m offer for the Azzurini ace.

The latest reports in Italy suggested that Napoli were also ready to join the race for the youngster and were planning an £8.5m bid, but Rossi’s representative dismissed the speculation.

“The only offer from Italy has arrived from Parma,â€￾ Andrea Pastorello told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“I have spoken with Napoli director general Pierpaolo Marino, but we discussed other players. I cannot confirm that they have made an offer for Giuseppe.â€￾

Rossi, who was also paired with Fiorentina as the Viola search for a new high-profile hitman to replace Luca Toni, had stated that he was eager to prove himself with Manchester United.

Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi, however, hopes that his offer will be enough to bring the player back to the Stadio Tardini, although the Premiership outfit are after £10m.

he has to leave, can anyone really see him getting much playing time amongst the other strikers...unless it's a meaningless league match or they're playing a league one side...
