- Macedonia was a city state of the Hellenic league.
- The country called FYROM has nothing at all to do with Ancient Macedonia.
- ancient Macedonia is modern day Northern Greece.

Can we get a different forum for Greeks who like to argue with "Macedonians formerly known as Greeks" about some bloke called Alexander who had parents who were Greek but didn't think it was cool to be Greek so called themselves something else...
