Mourinho On Injuries: Hilario Up Front For Cup Final
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed his struggle to even put together a 16-man squad for Saturday's FA Cup final.
Jon Obi Mikel is the latest player to be ruled doubtful for the final, having picked up a muscle injury during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Everton.
"It is unbelievable, it continues to happen. I rested Essien and Makelele, and then this," Mourinho told Chelsea TV.
"We will see but I think he is out of the game."
Mourinho is almost certain to be without Andriy Shevchenko, Michael Ballack and Ricardo Carvalho, and is also fretting on the fitness of Arjen Robben and Ashley Cole.
The left back is the only one of them who has a realistic chance of being fit in time.
"If Ashley is ready we have 15 players for the final," the coach continued.
"I will have to choose between Hilario because he is not bad playing forward, or I'll bring one of the kids to make 16."
Youngsters Sam Hutchinson, Ben Sahar and Nuno Morais were used as substitutes on Sunday.
