Arsenal done good @ Leicester, especially in that first half. Very positive play. Now up into 6th place and could go higher because surely the Hammers can’t sustain their run.

Reminder to those who sometimes forget the ‘support-through-thick-and-thin’ principle: the Gunners have garnered 17 points out of the 21 available in the last 7 games and face 16th-placed Watford at home @ 12.30am Monday 8th November (Adelaide time).

Another win for Arsenal, this time against a gritty Watford.

Now sitting 5th with 20 points out of a possible 24 in the last eight games. Good position to be in, going into the international break.

I suppose Arteta is off the sack list at the moment. Pressure on Spurs now, again.
The Hammers surprising all atm. Some good players in that side.

I wouldn't have minded a 7 million pound payment during sacking.

Ronaldo becomes the first player to officially score 800 goals in Top Flight Football matches.

Many have claimed to have scored more but his goals were all scored in Official matches - no friendlies or pre-season or unofficial matches.

How did Messi get the Ballon D'Or for this year when he's really done very little this season, how many goals?, whereas Ronaldo has been knocking goals in all season and leading his team's scoring chart at every club he's played out.

Which other clubs had the same?

But I do agree that if you can field 14 players, you should play.

Agree. The spuds should have forfeited this morning's game. In qualifying clubs who couldn't host or find a host for their ties forfeited the tie.

I remember reading that in Uefa's rules but did any clubs actually forfiet a tie?

You keep telling us what a big club Arsenal is, you should be able to manage with a paltry 8 players out.

After a promising start the iffy penalties are creeping back in, all the usual culprits of course with the so called bigger clubs getting the benefit. FA need to get back on top of it. Rudiger, what an absolute champagne.

100% penalties. Both of them. The one I query is the Man City one that hit the upper body below the armpit. Surely enough evidence to overturn with VAR.

 +1

He kicks lumps out of players at the other end, yet goes down like a cheap hooker when it suits. It's a contact sport and the level of contact has to be considered.

Salah had his mandatory dive.

Not sure if Stirling had a dive. That would top it off.
