What are you listening to now?

Post by maxin in the shade »

im a member of various other forums on the net (mostly music related) and the one topic that always seems to be popular are ones similiar to this

the name says it all. what album/artist/song are u listening to now that you really like?

if you want maybe add a couple of sentences to say what its like, or why you might like it. I'll start things off

Tool - 10,000 days

progressive metal at its best IMO. and no, i didnt go to the BDO so if anyone did, and they caught them live let me know how they were. im guessing they were excellent

Enya, the memory of trees, is an inspiration to me in my own life, that song brings back so many good memories for me, it really is a reflection on the decadence of our society which has been crippled by the oppression of war mongers.

Marilyn Manson - Mechanical Animals

Despite what people may think of MM, this was a quality album and one of the most underrated of the 90s IMO.
Certainly inspired by glam rock this has been on heavy rotation the last few weeks.

Fav songs: Great Big White World, Dope Show, Disassociative, Speed Of Pain, New Model, Last Day On Earth, Coma White

Anti christ superstar maybe but mechanical animals was average at best, hence why he went back to his old style after that album.

watching rage & Proper Education by eric prydz is on. I cat believe Pete Tong and friends on Radio 1 have been talking this track up for months, predicting it to hit #1. Its crap. Even HTFR were talking it up, Prydz is rubbish.
