1st half Pontians did struggled a little bit to keep up and contain the IF wingers and forwards but did improve in the 2nd half and matched IF such that it was an even contest in the 2nd half. It was a good match to watch in the breezy conditions with quite a few shots on target.

Southern Knights (1) Sturt Marion (2)
Knights, a little depleted in numbers on the day did well to hold last year's Saturday Premiers (not sure how the strength of their side was being a Sunday game) to a close game.
Reserves was a little one-sided apparently for Sturt..
