Don't you mean your reserves Old Redback? I am sure were pivotal in attracting them to the club. Look forward to seeing you during the season mateOld Redback wrote:Yes indeed - their ressies have picked up a number with first team Fed experience.Chaseandrews23 wrote:As long as he gets fit he will join his brother in the middle but the downs will have some serious depth

Re: Player Movements 2018
In my observations around the club, The players were let down by the club last year when the focus changed from the sunday team to the sl 2 team by not giving enough resources or attention to the sunday team. On top of that the poor due diligence by the committee of allowing an ineligible player to play for the team when that player wasn't really required on that day as the team had played very well - the loss of those 3 points ultimately cost the team relegation to div 2.moonshine3 wrote:GOOD TO SEE THERE IS ALOT OF CLUB LOYALTY AT VISTA, THE PLAYERS THAT GOT THEM RELEGATED SHOULD STAY TO GET THEM BACK UP !!! I'm sure Vista would be glad to see the back of disloyal players. My understanding is that the player was registered with the league correctly, the player stated he was never registered with any other club amd was prepared to sign a stat dec stating that.
If all that is true, should Vista have called every football club in the world to check?
Re: Player Movements 2018
Unfortunately SAASL didnt agree with your opinion and found he was registered with another club and everyone in the know, knows the club concerned and no need to scout the world. Sorry but the club let the players down and no wonder most of them left the club.God is an Englishman wrote:churchill wrote:In my observations around the club, The players were let down by the club last year when the focus changed from the sunday team to the sl 2 team by not giving enough resources or attention to the sunday team. Re: Player Movements 2018
How does everyone know the club when he didn't? Should the club treat every player as a liar and call every club in the world.
I think the SAASL made the wrong decision. However, the players definitely let the club down by getting relegated and some of them apparently not knowing how to behave.

If the player says he's not registered to any other club, which club do you ring? A lot of clubs in this world he could have been registered with.SID wrote:No just the one he was registered to

I heard different - if by resources do you mean money? As it must have been the only club where their amateurs were paid but not their Feds.God is an Englishman wrote:churchill wrote:In my observations around the club, The players were let down by the club last year when the focus changed from the sunday team to the sl 2 team by not giving enough resources or attention to the sunday team. Resources as in support and facilities - it wasnt about the money - why do you think 99% of the players left the club ??

I'm sure they would. So a club should ring every league in case the person has given them the wrong information?

Why did the league then allow him to be registered if he was registered with another club?God is an Englishman wrote:Brian the Postman wrote:God is an Englishman wrote: If the player says he's not registered to any other club, which club do you ring? That's the question I would like answered. They allowed him to register and then said he wasn't registered.Brian the Postman wrote:
