Pontian 3
Polonia 1
Very Lazy game today by the lads with some good goals scored. Considering we have played 3 teams promoted from div4 in the first 3 weeks all 3 gave a good account of themselves none of the games have been one sided. I think Imbros beat San Marco 3-1 and Croatia beat Blue eagles 12-0. Aldo what happened if this score is correct.

Yeah, unfortunately this is the correct scoreline. Even though we are struggling with a lot of injuries to a few key players, at the end of the day we couldnt string 2 passes together, and our marking was terrible. Every time we got the ball we gave it away. And every time they took a shot, the ball hit the back of the net.
Very disappointing to say the least.

Worse than we first thought, broken nose fractured cheekbone and a heavy dental bill on the way, the guy will be out min 6 weeks. So far this year we have lost, right back cruciate, centre half broken arm, left midfielder broken toe, and our guy with the facial damage. Lucky white heather. Anyway onward and upward as they say, when the guys get back to fitness we will be stronger and more balanced.
Nice one Redders... yeah there's a point to prove this year, to a lot of people. All the lads at the club know whats been said on footballnews.com (not to mention on channel c31's full on football, which they commented on how 'disillusioned' everyone was at the club).Redders wrote:Great draw for the Royal Park boys all this talk about them going down and there already out of the relegation zone haha.Redstar75 wrote:Sun Div 1

Great fighting draw lads, and good to see some spirit back at the club
Its gonna be a long season but confident can stay up
was at this game, good fight by the Royal Park boys definately deserved there draw. The referee was so bad, both teams were completely consfused at most of his decisions.Redstar75 wrote:Nice one Redders... yeah there's a point to prove this year, to a lot of people. How funny was it at the end when the NAB player kicks the ball from half way, the ref blows for FULL TIME and the ball clears the keeper and goes in. NAB didnt deserve the win, a draw was a fair result. Some great reflex saves by the Royal Park keeper who looked liked he lacked some confidence in the first half, but some of his saves in the second were top class.
Look forward to playing you guys next week after todays game you guys should have alot of confidence. We'll be hungry to find our first points for the season, makes for an interesting match.
I also think the Div 1 is fairly even with the exception of Downs. Results have already shown anyone can win on the day NAB beat Para/Hills, Para Hills beat Villa, Villa beat vale, you guys draw to NAB just shows how even the comp is already. If you dont turn up with you "A GAME" your going to get done.
