Cobras Vs Bramha Lodge

Post by Dannybolt »

What happened during the Cobras vs Bramha Lodge round 3 cup game??

Reports say Cobras had two goals disallowed for offside and both times the linesman ruled them to be on side. If these goals were to stand Cobras would have won 3-2. Cobras apparently had the better of Bramha and they were unlucky not to advance.

This was in the reserves game on Sunday.

Was anyone there to give their opinion on the rulings?

I understand that, however the linesman was an offical ref not a club member so don't you think that they would be more inclined to listen to their linesman. I just found it funny that two times this occurred not just the once. If the ref is not going to use his linesman then why should the clubs have to pay for them.

Brahma looked the better side to me, one disallowed goal may have been on the other clearly off, all 3 officials were appointed by the league. Also a referee inspector was there. Tight games can go either way not sure why a topic was started.

I wasn't there I have just been told by a few people what happened. It just seemed that the Cobras got the ruff end of the stick.

That's why I would like to know what other people think of the situation.

Brahma supporters thought their team was getting the rough end of the stick, that's football.

Why did they feel they got the rough end of the stick? I find that hard to believe.

So many calls in this game were questionable.
To say cobras were better was the same as most of the officials decisions. See above.

Dont start talking waffles if you were not at the game. The players got on with it....

How many games have the Cobras played in where they have had things go their way ?

Every club has days like that that is football, some clubs are better than others at intimidating Referees to award the 50/50 challenges your way, and award you free kicks that aren't really there.

That is how some clubs play their football.
