Good afternoon all, Nice to see so much interest and banter going on in our wonderful football community!

First of all we would like to Quash any rumors about Earl leaving us for Salisbury United, Modbury Vista, Para Hills, or Barcelona! Earl has done a fantastic job for us thus far and has the Adelaide Villa Soccer Club's full support and backing as he has done since taking on the role.

We all understand that this is an open forum and accept that everyone is open to an opinion and are all free to post thoughts and rumors as it all makes for fun and interesting reading!

Thank you all for so much interest and we are very pleased to relieve some stress on Ingle Farm and Paul :D ! How the Ingle Farm topic ended up an Adelaide Villa topic we have no idea but we are more than happy to share the load!

Good luck to all this weekend and for the rest of 2017.

Very surprised he turned down Barcelona.

Why does this post make me think of the following...

"Our coach has the full support of the board.”

As sure as a wardrobe malfunction in the Lingerie Football League, it is this fateful line that places a sloppy kiss of death upon a coach’s career, sending them from kicking doors to joining an unshaven queue at Centrelink.
'Winning doesn't really matter as long as you win.' - VINNY JONES
'It was like the ref had a brand new yellow card and wanted to see if it worked.' - RICHARD RUFUS

Interesting statement from the club. Loyalty is always important. However, April was the last time Villa won a game. Not great for a club with high aspirations.
