Bit of a frustration year for Southern Knights...after falling one point short of avoiding relegation in 2015
the lads fell one point short of promotion this year....due in part to a poor start (in terms of results) to
the season and a little lapse in discipline and application throughout the season.
The Knights were able to take 5 points off runaway Division 2 winners Vista but slipped up too often to
earn a place in the SAASL Sunday Premier Division.
Tom Foglia deserves a mention for his goalscoring this season despite the close attention and marking he attracted,
possibly topping the SAASL's Division 2 goalscoring with 22 goals (depending on the website fluctuations)...
Tom previously won the award when Knights were promoted in 2013.
Finally, congratulations to Modbury Vista an Para Hills East on their well earned promotion.
