Martini certainly put a bit of mayo on the end result but the keeper did not look at the ball at all and run straight in to him.
If he was down going for the ball and cleaned him up then so be it.

Like I said, not sure about it as they were initially both able to play the ball....
At the time (I was just behind the goal) I thought Steve got the decision right....but then again, I'm a member of the goalkeepers brotherhood

Whereabouts were you observing from ?
I think the impact was accentuated when the striker elevated himself and turned side on before impact....

No, Downs allegences have nothing to do with my opinion, I quite like Alban, he is very skillful (has torn Knights a new one a few times) but I do favour keepers after having been in one on one situations where the forward have had the benefit of the referees opinion...smart forwards are either looking for a goals or a frees kick so it makes a decision difficult.
