That's a bit of a turnip

Although at least one person said Iggies would get up.

They deserved their win and were the better team on the day.

Have been told that BOSA were severely undermanned.

I love it when a favourite loses people say 'I hear they're undermanned'. Try going to a game and then commenting!

To be fair he commented on who played not the game, so being at the game is irrelevant really.

Fair enough, he did do that so you are right my comment about him being at the game was irrelevant.

Would be interesting to find out what 'severely undermanned' constitutes though. For me it would be something like missing 5 regular starters, for example your GK, LB, CDM (who is also club captain), CAM, and ST (who's also the top scorer in div 2). That's who iggies were without yesterday anyway. Not sure if that's severely undermanned though.

For what it's worth, from what I saw, it was a good contest and iggies rode their luck a little and made the most of the chances they had.

Strange, my source at iggies told me only one person was missing. My source at BOSA told me about 6 names, 2 of whom I consider to be their best 2 players.

I'm pretty sure that was Iggies' regular first team keeper that played yesterday.

Can see why you'd think that if you are referring to the keeper that played against BOSA preseason as they look similar and are about the same age...unfortunately the A Grade keeper at Iggies is out with a knee injury and needs a recon.

I didn't see any pre-season games. I'm referring to the keeper you played against Tea Tree Gully City in the previous round and at Salisbury Villa a few weeks ago.

TTG cup game yes, same keeper. Was his first match for the club. Salisbury Villa no, A Grade keeper played that game. As I said, they look very similar.

Brahma are just too good.
Uni didn't help themselves with their poor passing but it will ba a very good team that stops Brahma.

to me "undermanned" doesn't refer to injuries. It refers to people missing for non footballing reasons. My source must think the same because he didn't mention the keeper.

It will be a long long time before you see a better goal than Matt Centrone's equaliser today.
Stunning.

Have seen 2 like that this year from Southern Knights :D ...Ryan McGuinness at Vista and Iain Stewart v Pontians...
But Matt's goal today was both important and stunning..

Not sure what was wrong with the Inter fan who wanted to fight all the Easties boys after a bit of banter with an Inter player.
He even spat at them, all class.

Kudos to the Inter ground marshall who came over and spoke to him and moved him on.
